Dayton is a good team. I expected us to win but not for the game to be decided in the last 2 minutes. #3, #14, #21, and #26 were some good athletes.

 

How much did Daytons #21 remind you of our #21? I am glad he did not get more touches!

 

#21 was a pretty tough kid, he made a couple of nice runs...This game was closer than I thought it would be...Thanks to Daddy Cat for the hospitality...

We talked about some of them after the game. Still piecing together what could have been seen/not seen on the Halo call, which seems to be getting the most attention. The blocks in the back were numerous tonight. Some were called, some were not. I don't know about the officiating. I do know we never get calls at home, so if we were, it was an abberation to the norm. It was an odd game.

We ended up with some new injuries. (Wouldn't be a LC game without losing some bodies.) Will know some more later, but some could be fairly serious knee stuff.

 

When is Lynn Camps off week, it sounds like they could use one to get healthy.

Good game played buy both teams. Number 88 for LC was on fire tonite, punishing anyone who crossed his path. I'm sick and

tired of hearing about bad calls. When we went up there last year there were a ton of bad calls, bad spots, and rude fans. I guess that is why it is called homefield advantage. On another note I would love to see this turn into a new rivalary. Both games were very intense. I heard Wes Steele may not be back! If it is true, wow what a loss for LC. I heard he left the field after half time and didn't return after an arguement with an assistant coach. Hopefully Coach Mitchell will have a heart to heart chat with him.

I thought the halo call was a bad call, but also there was no fumble on the play. The ball was in the air and was touched by a Dayton player, which should have made it a dead ball right there. The Refs were bad, there is no other way to sugar coat it, there were bad both sides, and who ever lost the game could have beef with them.

They are off this week.

I heard the same thing about Steele.

Time will tell, I guess.

 

Ammon was supposed to get checked out last night to see if/how bad his leg is hurt, the rest out of uniform were assorted small hurts and such and should be fine.

Dayton seems to be coming up short on a lot of games so far this season. They might just surprise some teams in the next few weeks.

Well, you had Ludlow and LC, which were 1 point games, I believe. A break here or there and they are sitting at 2-3. If you stay close, good things can happen.

Wes Steele knee injury is much worse than expected. Was thought to be mcl strain may be a tear. He says he is in extreme pain. Pray for him. He has therapy and MRI scheduled this week.

I hate that for wes. He is a good kid and a good ball player. Hopefully with the week off and Tyrone to carry the load when we play Harlan he can get the rehab he needs and bounce back when we pick back up in the district play.
