mcpapa Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Another defensive struggle in south-central Kentucky...:scared:
Hasbeen Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I know this district is offensive minded, but when you score 60 points and lose, it may be time to re-evaluate your coaching philosophy.
Thomas Magnum Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I thought this was a misplaced basketball score at first...... How do you spell defince..........?!?!?!?!?
cannonball Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Offense is great but defense wins titles. It sounds like no one has any. This had to have been a real thriller though.
Maroon Fan Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Pulaski hits a FT to win it in OT! Just kiddin'. PC was down 13 w/ just over 5min. to play. PC scored to cut it to 6,then recovered to on-sides kick.(SL actually lined up 15 yards off the ball instead of 10, allowing PC to recover. PC scored again w/ over 3 min. to go to go up by 7. SL goes 75 yards to score then kicks the PAT to tie it w/ just over 1 min. to go. PC couldn't get past SL's 30 before time ran out in regulation. OT: SL scores on its 2nd play but misses the PAT. PC scores on 3rd & goal from the 15, Lester w/ the PAT, Maroons WIN!!!! Craziest game I have EVER witnessed live!! Not real pretty, over 1,100 in total offense & almost 250 yards in penalties. Bottom line, PC gets a huge district win & back to .500 on the season.
mcpapa Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Last year, Pulaski County eclipsed the 61-point mark 9 times in its 29 basketball games.
nomorenoles Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 This sounds like a wild game. What were Bowling's numbers?
Hasbeen Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 So this wasn't an multiple OT score? Single overtime, 7-6. S.L. missed the PAT.
Les Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Bowlind had 420 yards passing and seven passing Tds. He now has 119 during his career. It looks as if Couch's record of 133 could be broken. South had 702 yards on offense.
digger3210 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Can anyone tell me why South keeps kicking the to the 40 yard line and always giving the other team the ball on the 50 yard line? Can someone please tell me?
polarbear1994 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I'd like to know why South Laurel lined up 5 yards deeper to let Pulaski get the onside kick???
