Its postseason, never rule out the upset. SK is the heavy favorite but that doesnt mean they couldnt get upset. Everyone who is still alive should be bringing their A games, but not everyone always does. SK will have to play pretty bad to lose, but they have had some suprising loses IMO this year.

good post funtowatch. I am pretty sure the kids from HC were looking ahead a little farther than they sohuld have. Carroll played with real heart, and Roberts had a great game for CC. I am looking forward to a good game between HC and GC Saturday, these 2 always seem to play each other good.

I wasnt throwing any stones. Henry co. did get 2 players freshmen year, they are now seniors. One player came from SOuth Oldham and had some basketball experience, the other cam from Louisville and had never played an organized basketball game in his life. The transfers Owen and Gallatin both got, a POY candidate (Neeley) and a player with alot of winning experience (Edmonson). It is just my opinion to why they didnt win, not saying they arent deserving of it or anything.

Coach of the year is voted on by the coaches as well, maybe it is because Henry beat Owen and Gallatin, while lost at Gallatin on a shot at the buzzer the other time, if not for transfers Henry sweeps them both. This week will be interesting at the SHOE, should be great games and atmosphere. Congrats to all the players who made the all region team, and good luck to all.

Owen co. coach didnt win I would say because of transfers. Henry Co. has come from 3-25 2 years ago to 18-9 and 1st in their district. They didnt get any transfers during Hollands 3 years at HC either. He is a great coach and I believe that is why he won it. Jones is an excellent coach as well, couldve won it just as easily. 31st district, i believe, is a little stronger than ppl anticipated it to be.

Hester is an awesome player, but Neeley should've won. He turned a team around that would've won 7-10 games maybe IMO, to 21-5 and Owen having one of their best seasons in a while. Nobody in this region impacted their team like Neeley did. Congrats to all players though. Overall, I think the list is pretty good.

South has more talent...but they dont have Gary Forrest. Gary Forrest is a proven winner on the court. Oldham won by 12, 66-54. I was not there, but I am sure Buttels will inform us soon on how the game went.

Tough loss for CC. I heard from someone at the game that Cheatum quit the team. Does anyone know if this is a fact or not?

This game was very sloppy both ways. Henry really did not come out to play at all. Good game by Trimble, they had a great gameplan for this game and util the 4th they executed it very well.

I agree with your selections spillywilly, but I think I will take Henry over gallatin because the game is at HC.

Sayre is a tough out though, at least this year they are. I dont know about past years or future years but the present team is pretty tough.

I just feel bad for the winner of the 8th.

Does anyone know what time this game will be played tomorrow evening and the price of admission??? By the way, I think Scott County could pull it off. Just remember how South Laurel almost beat NCH last year with OJ and Co. Granted Huntington is better than NCH, but Scott County is also better than last years South laurel team IMO. I think it will be a good game. I think Scott County is better than most people see them as being when it comes to playing some of the nations top competition
