True blue (and gold) Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 I will have to take Gallatin again. Let's say a 1 pt victory in OT...would be a great game that way!
GatorFan Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Where to begin.... They are going to have to come in and bring their "A" game tonight... Going to be a good game.... I am going to have to go with Gallatin by 4...:thumb:
coachwife Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 I hate to do this, but I have to pick Owen. The game is being played on neutral court and they have played each other at least 4 times. I think Owen will pull the victory out. I think both Neeley and Duvall have something to prove after controversially not winning POY. Will be extremely close game that could go either way. I hate this is the draw. (If Carroll does not win tonight) I would like to see both teams represent the 31st district in the regional tournament.

Disagree: The All "A" Classic was on a neutral court at Eminence with the same type of prize dangling out there. I do agree with GatorFan, they will have to bring that type of game with them or they will go home and not continue. Agree: Daniel Neeley should have been player of the year. Hands down.
Italian Stallion Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 But he didnt. The coaches voted Hester and he is the POY. Maybe if Owen wins and Neeley and Hester can square off then we will know if the coaches voted correctly or not. So lets talk about the game. Gallatin by 6, get a lead early and coast to victory.
True blue (and gold) Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 The POY discussion is valid here, as they are saying that this affects the mindset of the player(s) and coach.

So your sayin Neeley will play bad or good just because he didnt win the POY. Come on that is not going through his head when he is playing. He has one thing on his mind and that is winning and getting to the regionals. The only people that seem to worry so much about POY and COY is us.
sportsmaniac Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Owen by 5. In postseason if teams are closely matched, always pick the team with the best guard!!
spillywilly Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 I would love to make it to this game but just to far of a drive. But I will take a guess and say Gallatin 72 Owen 70. Neely 25

Owen County by 2
