Considering this particular Lloyd fan most likely stereotyped all Belfry fans based on what is, most likely, an isolated incident, I don't think it is reasonable justification to stereotype all Northern Kentucky fans based on this isolated incident of one irate Lloyd fan.

YES! :jump: But seriously, with the way things are planned and prepared for in the Boone County district sometimes I'm baffled when I see school buses successfully picking kids up for school. Ryle just finished their new addition and I think they are already overcrowded and now they are just beginning the new high school. :confused:

True, they lose some of their best guys, but, they also return some big contributors too, as well as most of the line (correct me if I'm wrong). On top of that they just made it to the State Finals for the first time ever. They have to start building a successful program somewhere! :thumb:

Isn't it Camp Ernst? I wish they would just build one giant school in Boone County instead of having four seperate ones. Or at the very least two.

It may have changed the score a little but not the outcome. Ryle's defense played well early but the offense could get NOTHING going. Better field position and an absence of early turnovers would have only delayed the inevitable.

I havn't seen a post (and I would love for you to produce them if I'm wrong) that has ever said Trinity doesn't have talent. Maybe they don't have D1 talent, but they have great players all over the field and the scores this year have reflected that. Saying not one Ryle player could play for Trinity is a fairly presumptuous post, especially with the way you have stereotyped all Ryle fans based on a couple of posts,

Your right but Conners first round game in '03 wasn't exactly a powerhouse...very similar team to what Ryle faced going through this years playoff.

I agree. The Ryle team this year did what the Conner '03 team couldn't, and that was advance in the playoffs so I will give them that. But, I can't say I know much about their '04 team though, I didn't even see them play.

That is true. One of those teams would certainly be in the mix.

Your right...I would probably put Conner '04 (or '03?) below this years Ryle's team though. I think any one of those teams could beat the other one on any given day.

What I'm saying is the gap between these teams is very indiscernable...

Didn't Boone '02 lose to Ryle in '02 (not a particulary great team)?

How do the regions break down...and how is the tournament going to go...blind draw again or do they actually have a set up?

And I would just like to add one other thing. Can we not label everyone who has posted in here about the public/private thing a disgruntled Ryle fan. I think we've had a great group of fans who have done nothing but support a great group of kids this year without denigrating other teams or their players. I would also hate for these kids to get bashed for things out of their control, like the playoff set up or the public/private thing, because a couple of people get on here and make out of place and off the wall posts. I'm confident when Ryle fans get on here tomorrow (or today) they will be nothing but congratulatory and conciliatory to Trinity and their fans.

Trinity: Hands down best program in the state...and will be for quite some time. Congratulations on the win and #17. Ryle: Great season. No shame in losing to a team like T in your first state appearance. Take this as a stepping stone and go from there. The game: I thought Ryle was going to be able to play with them early. Both defenses were making plays and making some highlight reel hits. Ryle could get nothing going on offense and turned it over twice setting up Trinity with great field position, which you can't do to a team like that. Petrino killed us with his legs and his arms. Those third and long scrambles for first down are huge momentum killers! Besides the rain and the cold is was a great atmosephere and I had a good time!

It wasn't a scandal. And you can find everything there is to find out about it in the local newspapers.

I won't dispute that but there is quite a bit Cooper did to get Ryle from a brand new school to the academic and athletic level it is currently at.
