Paintsville will beat Raceland twice and get beat out in the second round of the playoffs. Raceland beating Russell which I think will happen could help West last longer in the playoffs than Raceland. Season is not over as you say.

West had around 35 kids last year and started 7 sophomores and 1 freshman. So not that much.

Someone else posted about Messer. I'm aware that Raceland beat West Carter but what does that have to do with your ridiculous comment that replacing Messer isn't an issue this year?

Who does Ranceland have on their team that scores every 5 touches this year?

B. Brown ran for 2 TDs and threw for 3 TDs also returned a punt for a TD but was called back. Pendleton didn't have very many kids out and the QB was the only decent athlete. Long season for them I feel for the players as at West Carter we have had some of those years. But their coaching from a scheme point was awful. They were doing some things that I have never seen done in high school football.

Will opinions change when Raceland beats Russell?

Russell should win this game. But they are not one of the best Russell teams and are not dominating the district like usual. Not impossible for Bath to come out with a win in a close one.

Not in the least bit surprising. Fleming is a young team. West executed offensively and defensively to perfection tonight. Held Fleming to -5 yards rushing and forced 5 turnovers. Three interceptions and two fumble recoveries one of which went for a touchdown. West did not exicute verse Raceland the first game of the season. The game was close the entire game and West was 0-10 on 3rd down conversions, that is terrible offense. Russell was a very winnable game for West. 7-7 at the half then came out and turned the ball over. Defensively gave up 3 touchdowns on 4th down conversions. Two of which were not in the redzone and two coverage mistakes. Interesting to see how the tie breaker works out. How sweet it would be to get another shot at Russell for the Comets.

B. Brown went 142yards rushing with two TDs. 100+?? Yards passing with one TD. Also had an interception on defense and a nice punt return.

Big game for both teams this week. Fleming controls their own destiny. A West Carter win most likely causes a 3 way tie in the district. West Carter gets sweet pay back for the Week 7 Overtime loss (22-21) to Fleming County last season. West Carter- 28 Fleming County- 20

Will this be running clock number 4 or 5? I have lost track.

West should put up a lot of points this game. The last three years B. Brown has racked up 505 yards on 41 carries and 6 touchdowns against Bath. But there is a new staff at Bath and they might scheme us better but I still don't think they can deal with our offensive speed.

Good game. 7-7 at the half. Russell played great assignment defense and brought a lot of pressure in the second half. West had 2 turnovers one each half and gave up 3 touchdowns on 4th down. Not going to pull off an upset turning the ball over and giving up conversions on 4th down, especially when those 4th down conversions are touchdowns when Russell wasn't even in goal.

Braden Brown - Stats 11.07sec Is his record for a recorded FAT time in a meet. Which is all that really matters. I was told he ran a 10.98 at a meet in Ohio last year but it wasn't recorded FAT or something happened, not for sure. Dually noted that Q. Baker from Ashland is faster. athletic.net is not accurate for West Carter Track. We have had athletes win State Championships at West through the years and they are not listed on that webpage. I believe everyone knows that Baker and Brown are fast in the 100m. Anyways back to football... West Carter's QB is faster than Russell's, RB that's faster, WR that's faster, Offense lineman that's faster, LB that's faster, DB that's faster, and Defensive lineman that is also faster. West Carter has kids that can out run Russell at basically every position, so there for they have a faster team. You will see this on Friday night. Like I said previously are they more physical or better football players? That will be decided on Friday.

West Carter IS by far faster than Russell. Are they as physical as Russell that will be determined Friday night. If West holds Conley under or at 100yrds rushing and West throws for 2 or more TD's West will get the win. I think Russell is overrated this year and West is underrated, so I think it'll be a great game! Turnovers and Special Teams will be huge in this game, when in years past that really hasn't matter much for Russell to win.

West and Fairveiw do not even play this year. I believe he was indicating that Fairveiw will beat East very badly and East will suffer its third running clock of the season. Guess that's what happens when Raceland guys get to excited about Fairveiw Football... lol
