This game is only a 1 year contract, so Breathitt County will not be making the trip to Johnson County next year.

As everybody knows... Coach Jim Matney has to sit out tonight's game and next friday nights game against St. Thomas More. Glen Reeves will be assuming the head coach role in tonight's game.

List looked pretty good to me. Johnson Central has to have one of the toughest schedules in the state this year.

Johnson Central - 42 Breathitt County - 31 Dont know much about Breathitt County, but I do believe JC will take this game.

Prestonsburg - 45 Paintsville - 14

When I recieved word of this tragedy... my heart broke. I know Major Corey and Mrs. Corey are working so hard to build up the Perry County Central wrestling program. Nick was a great kid. His brother Chris is a great wrestler and IMO a future state champion. Prayers go to to the Commodore wrestling family.

It's WAY too early to even be talking about state champs for the 08-09 wrestling season.

Belfry, Ashland, Montgomery County, Woodford County, Bryan Station and Paintsville are games that I know of.

Ian Welch will be a senior this upcoming season.

I was wrong about Paintsville. Hopefully Hazard can pull it out for the mountains.
