As far as I know, the 15 region championship game will be played as scheduled tonight. It will be a great game between the top two girls teams in the 15th. The Johnson Central Lady Eagles vs. The Pike County Central Lady Hawks. These two teams have played two times this year. The first meeting was on December 22nd @ JC, PCC won 61-56. The second meeting was on January 14th @ JC, PCC won 69-52. IF this game gets cancelled, I'll be sure and post it.

I am predicting an All-Johnson County 15th region championship game.

The 15th region semi-final games will be played Monday, 3-10-08, at the Expo center in Pikeville. Game 1 - 6:30pm Johnson Central vs. East Ridge Game 2 - 8:00pm Shelby Valley vs. Paintsville

I believe the final score was Shelby Valley - 80 Prestonsburg - 50

Good game tonight. This was the first time that I liked the regional tournament being held at the expo center. Allen Central had some players that could hit the 3-ball. Johnson Central finally started hitting lay-ups in the 2nd half. The stat of the game was point of off turn-overs. JC had like a 24-7 advantage. JC will play East Ridge Monday night (3-10-08) in the regional semi-finals.

Yes they do, and they have still been successful. This year they had 4 state placers. Josh Muncy (2001 SCHS Grad and 2001 189 lbs. state champ) is now the wrestling coach. He is assisted by his brother Dan Muncy (2004 SCHS grad and 2004 160 lbs. state champ).

Yes there is. It was held at Johnson Central 3-1-08. It was the largest wrestling meet ever held in Kentucky at any level by number of matches (over 1200) and number of wrestlers (over 640).

2C, Johnson County Elementary Wrestling won the Elementary state wrestling tournament yesterday.
