I agree. The problem with Mason last year was that he didn't know when to scramble and when to throw the ball. This isn't the case with Dini, he makes good reads and gets the ball out when he needs to. One of the biggest weaknesses of this GRC team is their offensive line being so small and young, this doesn't help Dini at all on passing downs.

I think the reason former Cowboys players win the Joe Bordas Award is because they are taught early in the football careers leadership qualities and the right way to go about things on and off the field. And its important that when talking about an award as important as this one, you understand that this award is solely based on a player vote, the coaches or any outside source that may be believed to influence the outcome is strictly propaganda.

Junior RB Ryan Williams from Clark County, on limited action, rushed for 903 yards on just 81 carries. That's over 11 ypc. And he scored on 13 of his 81 carries. Great effort by both him and his five senior offensive lineman.

Anyone know who got selected for all-district honors in 6A Region 4 District 8? This would be the district with Madison Central, Shelby County, Scott County, and Clark County.

Anyone else from 6A District 8 invited aside from Fox and Perry?

Refs made some sketchy calls IMO, and it seemed like Georgetown security paid much more attention to GRC's student section. This game wasn't as close as it should have been.

Lots of talent on this Clark County team. Everyone's been saying it all year but all GRC needs is a win this week and next week vs. southwestern to spring them into the playoffs with some momentum. Hopefully they get it together and win the next 2 as a team.

Matthews is a fine player, hope everything turns out all right with him.

Brandon Mcaffery played defensive end in the district championship game last year, as 2 defensive lineman for GRC were ineligible. The DBs didn't have to do much run stopping if I remember correctly, like varsity card said the defensive line and linebacking core brought their A game.
