Final per the KHSAA Scoreboard site.

Way to go TIGERS. This team has been a joy to watch and deserves to be State Champions.

Congrats to the Tigers for bringing home the State Championship and an undefeated season. Quite an accomplishment to say the least. Great job guys .....

Congrats to St. X. After watching the game last night I can see why they are undefeated.

Also Congrats to the GRC Cards. "The Road Warriors"....what a season guys. 17-5-4. Last night was only the second loss to a instate school. All but 5 games were on the road. We at GRC are so proud of all you have done this season. :thumb:

Congratulations to St. X for the championship. Although I didn't get to see the game, I heard there was excellent soccer. Even though the crowd was rowdy on both sides.

Congratulations to GRC Cards for the magnificent run to the finals. It was quite an accomplishement despite all the road games. Good Luck to all the seniors! Thank you for all the memories.

Refs made some sketchy calls IMO, and it seemed like Georgetown security paid much more attention to GRC's student section. This game wasn't as close as it should have been.

I had heard there were several students asked to leave the game, but none for St. X. Does anyone know exactly what happened?

Supposebly Georgetowns security thought that a ball was thrown from GRC's student section when it actually came from St. X over to GRC's section. They were constantly harrassing the section all night. When time was expired they made most of the students leave and would not even allow them to stay and watch their team get their awards. When some refused and told them they had to leave or else they were forced out by security. What a shame when most of these fans had been with this team all season and then was not even allowed to watch them get their awards for being 2nd in the state!:fight:
