These are my thoughts on the game. The atmosphere was awesome, I've been to many Raceland games in the last fifteen years and I don't think I can remember anything as exciting as last night's game. First off, Russell played an awesome game and they are for real. They have size and speed, and are fundamentally sound. Raceland hung tough but turnovers and penalties killed us. The half time adjustments have to go to Russell. They came out in the second half and dominated, congrats. I was very disappointed that Raceland lost, but I hope the "playoff" type atmosphere helps to prep for the real thing. All in all, I had a great time. I was impressed with the sportsmanship of both team and the fans on both sides. I think this could be the start of something good, hopefully a renewal of a rivalry that should never have stopped. Good luck Devils, as always I will be pulling for you guys the rest of the way out. Rams, get your heads up and get ready West Carter and then the playoffs. Mike B.

I can't believe I got to go to this game! I have a few cheering related injuries. It was awesome. The defense, the o-line, Johnson, Woodson, Locke, the fans! It was the greatest game I've ever seen! I'm so happy for these boys. Can't wait for next week!

I liked the premier, except for the story line about dumping the body. I thought that was a little too soap opera-ish. They could have easily said it was self-defense after he came out and saw the guy attacking the girl. I thought that was too much. Other than that, it was great. They def. need to get Coach taylor back at the school and get rid of the new no-personality coach!

I have eaten at the one in Lex. and liked it. Always a good thing when this area get something new! I'm excited!!

I don't think you can chalk up any definite wins in the SEC period! You never know what may happen each game. I look forward to UK's match-ups with all of them!

Great game! Very gutsy calls by LSU coach. Not so sure if I would have made the last 4th down call...but I'm not a coach. I think Florida has to drop in the polls with 2 consecutive losses.

I'm a little ashamed to admit that I really got into this show! I was so glad he picker her over Heather! She was trashy! And how about Lacey? Psycho!!!!!

This is going to be a great game. I have confidence that Coach Brooks will have this team prepared. Still, tough to play on the road. I would love to see them beat Spurrier! GO CATS!!!

This is great! We have every right to dream this big. They are playing great! I have been a loyal UK football fan for a lot of years and I have had to defend myself for remaining a fan. I'm sure there are many more like me. We deserve to dream big! We deserve to enjoy this season to the fullest! GO CATS!!

These Ashland kids are going to be hungry for a win and the strong showing at Russell will give them the confidence they have needed. I say Ashland takes it!

Wow, what a game! I think everything (and more) has already been said. My house erupted during the last TD and then the final play. It was great! It's a great day to be a Wildcat fan!

Ashland is young this year, really young. Sure, Ashland has started out with two losses, but they have lost to a couple of really good class "A" teams. Things will pan out for Ashland, Coach Hart is a top notch coach, who could be coaching on the college level, so I think Ashland is very lucky to have him. Some of you Ashland fans just need to get off your high horse and let the season play out, if it's a down year, so be it, you learn and move on. The best thing to do is keep the negative thoughts to yourself, I'm guessing a lot of the kids who play for Ashland get on here from time to time, and the last thing they need is another negative comment to knock them down another notch. Show some pride in your team and stop complaining. I'm sure if the 'Cats where 2 and 0 you wouldn't be so negative now would you. Mike B. :devil:

As a mental health professional, I'm a little shocked that people are making a joke about something like this. Depression, or any mental illness for that matter, doesn't care how rich you are, or how popular you are. I feel for him and hope he gets the care he needs.

I saw nothing un-American or asking for handouts. I did hear some alarming news about our health care system compared to others around the world! Maybe you should put aside your political views and look at what he is trying to say. The healthcare system in this country is horrible!

I think Mrs. Edwards put Coulter in her place. She was nervous, hiding behind her sunglasses and flipping that mane around. I disagree that she was trying to make any kind of meaningful point. She is just trying to gain attention, most likely to sell another book. I think making light of anyone's death, in this case a child's death, is inexcusable. Coulter should have taken the high road for once and made some effort to apologize about her remarks regarding the Edwards' son that passed away.

This is great news for our end of the state! It's always great to have a local boy to cheer for. Congrats to Euton and I hope he develops his game even more over the next couple years and makes a BIG impact at UK!

He should have done all his "thinking" before he did a press conference. Was there something new in the mix? He could have taken the weekend to talk things out with his family. I think it definately hurts his credibility in several aspects (recruiting, future job prospects).

I agree that Elizabeth rarely brings anything new to the table. It's always the same replies. Plus, I find it hard to stomach when people still try to portray Bush as a good president simply for the fact that he is Republican. He's not. You can stand your ground politically, but it's just rubbish to still try and defend his actions.

I live in Greenup County, but work in Boyd. My coworkers and I look forward to our lunch more than anything! I am excited about getting some new restaurants to eat at. I really hope they don't try to appeal the decision. I think that the voters let their voices be heard and that should be enough! I'm going to the new theater this weekend and you guys have got me pumped about the seats!!

Well, I'm partial to Ashland coming down the steps of historic Putnam Stadium. I also enjoyed Johnson Central's this past year. I thought it was great!
