Blake can beat box, but this is a singing competition. I think his beat boxing is distracting people from seeing how average his vocal skills are. He should be next to go.

I got hooked on Saucony's in college after my roommate wore them for running. I love them and only buy them now. Not too expensive, either.

I don't think, in most cases, that it is the kids that are actually in the justice system already. It seems like most of them are troubled, but they are quietly troubled. Does this make sense? I think in the VT incident, he was in the mental health system, and someone obviously dropped the ball. he was deemed a threat to himself and others, but was allowed to return. There were many warning signs, and they were ignored by the people who make the decisions. In most of the high school cases, they seem to be kids that are teased relentlessly and just keep holding it in. It builds up until they can't take it anymore. I don't think you can only blame parents. School officials need to take notice of all the bullying that goes on. The parents aren't with them at school and can't know everything that goes on.

Isn't the Florida team going to be booed anyway coming into Rupp? Aren't most of the visiting schools? Isn't that what home court advantage is about? SHould we cheer for him? For Florida? I think this is a ridiculous idea that we shouldn't boo him and if we do, we have no class. That makes no sense!

I wouldn't give up Bradley for anything. He is 100% all the time and a LEADER. I'm happy to have him.

I don't see Summit wanting to step into that arena. She has been so succesful as a women's coach and is a legend. She obviously doesn't need a raise...as she bought her 3 assistants Mercedes after their win.

I agree with SB. That would be a great move by Gillispie. It would make him look like a true Kentucky team player.

I'm very excited! I hope he does well, but like people have already said, I think he's a great fit. He would have been my second choice, as well.

I think I may have to agree with most of this....

If I remember correctly, Wireman clearly stated that he was just passing along information that he was told by a friend. He never said that he verified it by looking at the bank records. And how do we know it wasn't done and he's going to send it back? none of us know for sure, so just move on.

What i'm asking is, has he ever said that in public? When he was recruiting Patterson, the Kentucky job wasn't open. That makes a big difference. I'm sure Tubby told him he wasn't going anywhere either. I just don't think it's right to say that he has less character because he takes another job.

Has Billy actually said he would never leave Florida? I've never read or heard anything like that. I thought that was a little rude of Patterson to insinuate that he would think less of him if he left. Coaches have to look at what's best for them and their families, just as players do.

I'm nervous, anxious and really just ready for something. It sucks not knowing...whether it's Billy D. or not. I just want to know.

So, what is going to be the difference at Florida if Donovan would go the next 4 years without a National Championship? Do you think people won't start talking? It is not any different at UK than any other school that has had success. If Coach K had 3 more years like this past year, the Puke fans would be saying the same thing. Same for UNC, etc.

Kentucky is, by most accounts, King of Basketball. No one can argue that, and anyone who thinks that it would be a step down from UF is only kidding themselves. Yes, UF has had a few good years, but do we really need to break things down for people? This guy is only trying to convince himself and make UK fans mad. He should look into writing for the comics page.

This is ridiculous. What happened had nothing to do with race. If UK was so racist, why was Tubby the coach for 10 years? Why does he still have so many supporters around the state, even though the program is way below the standards set in previous years at the school? UK fans just want to win. They want the games to be fun to watch again. No one cares what color the coach is!

This is going to be a huge blow. All these people complaining about not winning are going to be in for a big surprise over the next couple of years. I wish Tubby all the best at Minnesota. He deserves to have a program who appreciates him. He has been a class act at UK.

Great game! Such a good feeling to see them pull off such a TEAM win. Everyone showed up! Meeks and Bradley really stood out with their emotional play. I sure hope they can keep it up!

Seeding is the only way to go in my book. If a team has proven to be the top of their district, they should be rewarded with a "slightly" easier path to the regional tournament. The best teams are supposed to be at the regional tournament.

I think HHS will dominate, but I would like to see it be a competitive game down the stretch. I just want to see the HHS players really put on a show!I'm really glad they are televising some of their games.

I think it's a toss up..although Ashland has some momentum going in. I don't think anyone can know what will happen in Ashland-BC games, but I'm going to go with my Cats. Ashland 61-Boyd County 54

From what I read, Zonebuster started talking about the JV game. Not elementary level. But, thanks for the help SB. There was no overreaction on my part. Just a request to get back to the thread topic. And FYI, my spouse is a Raceland grad and I'm an Ashland grad. No need to make insinuations about my mental health. Great game by the Cats!
