  1. Are we seriously talking about elementary and middle school games on here? How about we open a thread for Pee-Wee basketball where you can brag about your 6th graders beating everyone. Let's talk about high school b-ball on here, since that is what it was opened for. Geez-just take the loss. This is not new that RH has young players. It's a small school. To make up a team in the levels that other schools have, you have to pull up kids from the lower grades. It does not mean that you are that much better than everyone else.
  2. I watched OJ play at RH and thought he forced too many shots. I thought that was just lack of maturity. But, if he's still doing that now...there's a problem. Especially with the other talent on that team. No doubt he's the best to come through this area..I don't think anyone will argue on that. But, you've got to play as a team. He's going to face players just as talented in college and the pros.
  3. Congrats to Boyd on a good win. March is going to be interesting! I can't wait to see how it all plays out. It's great to have so much competition in the area.
  4. This is just a great win for the program and for the state. I have received years of ridicule over UK's football program and have never stopped rooting for them. I know there are tons of others like me, and it feels good to have something to be proud of! Can't wait until next year!
  5. Great win for the Tomcats! Good luck in the finals!
  6. I agree Bobby. I haven't been to the AIT in years, but very seriously contemplating coming to this game tonight-only for the fact that they are playing Boyd. Not knocking the other great teams that come and play every year, it's just more fun to have a rivalry game.
  7. I believe that 11 was the most KCC got up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Then Ashland went on a big run and hit all of those threes.
  8. First of all, great game by both teams. I am always going to pull for a local team and have become quite the Russell fan in the past few years with their deep playoff runs. I have one question about the game. On Mercer's first score, they went for it on 4th down, and scored off of a recovered fumble in the endzone. Am I wrong by saying that the score shouldn't have been granted? I thought on forth down the only person offense eligible to advance a fumble was the person who fumbled? Anyway, that was it. I want to congratulate both teams on a great game and great seasons. The game was fun to listen to. Mike
  9. With all dues respect, Raceland has one of the top defensive units in Class "A", and they've forced 12 turnovers in the first two rounds of the playoffs.
  10. This should be a great game! I wish I could be there to see it! Although I feel for the Durham kid and would like to see him win a state title just to rub it in UofL's face, I'm gonna have to go with JC. I always have to pull for the local teams. Good Luck Eagles! JC 24 RC 21
  11. I don't understand the compaints about Dickie Martin. Isn't it the same argument regarding your PA guy? It's not for your enjoyment. It's the TOMCAT FOOTBALL RADIO SHOW. If you don't like what he says, don't listen to him. Why is it ok for you all to talk about him but an outrage for someone to say something about your guy??????
  12. I have noticed a few comments on the Rams pass caoverage problems. I have noticed all season that we hardly ever have safety help over the top, leaving the corners on an island. The same thing happened in the first game with LCA, and in my opinion was part of the reason we lost. I hope the correct adjustments are made, cause I feel this team has something else to prove, only time will tell thought.
  13. The best offense the Rams ran this season IMO was at Nicholas Co. They mixed in a variety of formations that night, including a lot of I Formation. The offense seemed to click better that night then it has all season.
  14. I'm worried myself Rambler. You are correct, Paris did make adjustments and did outscore Raceland in the second half, but at the same time Vanderhoof always calls the dogs off early in a blow out. I am confident that the right preparations have been made for Raceland to come out on top Friday night. Now we find out if it is a Northern Ky Playoff jinx or just a Playoff jinx in general. Class of 94 DT 77
