  2. Not being expected to win is not a bad thing. The pressure is all on Cincy St. X.
  3. 7 - Cincy St. X 5 - South Oldham 3 - Meade 2 - Male 1 - John Hardin Tie Breaker Cincy St. X
  4. I talked to one of the Woodford parents today and they did not know of anything going on. He is playing.
  5. What is the deal with that? If he has now been ruled eligible he should be a big + to Woodford.
  6. You sound like you have been there done that! You can teach anywhere that is for sure. I know some programs who practice in their gyms! I still think Dunbar has top notch facilities and a top notch program. They have athletes year in and year out. I hope they get it together.
  7. I think people will be suprised by this game. I think Danville has an edge just because so many GRC players are out. It should go right down to the wire. Danville by 3.
  8. From the rakings out today from Cantrall, Franklin Co. is ranked higher than Boyle. North Bullit is ranked slightly lower than Boyle. Lafayette has beaten both of these excellent teams. I wouldn't exactly say they played a cupcake schedule.
  9. Like I said, these are small independent school districts. There are probably 4 or five in the county. Combine these and WOW! These schools might equal a 1 A in KY. One of the above posts stated they had a little over 200 in 9 10 and 11th grades. Don't you count 12th? Like you said before, I haven't looked at the website. I am just going with first hand experience. I will look into it...obviously.
  10. Madison Central Franklin County Wayne County Lloyd Memorial Franklin-Simpson Tie Breaker Franklin County
  11. I am from that area. It is that small. Usually those high schools in that small area...Chesapeake, Fairland, South Point, Coal Grove all have really small independent districts. Usually around 100 per class maybe a little more. Ironton is and always has been bigger.
  12. There are other schools in town facing the same thing and they still produce. Dunbar is very lucky in their facilities. There are other teams that battle for field time with soccer etc. without any practice field. Just ask Lafayette...I'm sure they would have something to add to this. Was this a problem in the previous years? Dunbar has always been a top notch program and I think they still are. However, they need to adapt and overcome.
  13. But they SHOULD have a passing game. There are tons of schools who would love to have the athletes and facilities that Dunbar has. This school has loads of talent. If they get it together they will be a force to be reckoned with.
  14. Who will win...St. X. Who do I want to win...Male. Sometimes you just can't help but root for the underdog...
  15. Tell him to hang in there! He will be back on the field before you know it!
  16. South Point is such a small school. Those small schools in southern Ohio might have around 400 kids. Greenup should clean up.
  17. Too bad this game isn't played on Saturday. What a gate! I would have liked to have seen it.
  18. What a good win for St. X. LexCath now knows what they need to work on. With the mistakes made, it is obvious that St. X had gotten into LexCath's head. Good luck to both teams this season.
  19. I think this is a great matchup. I think it will be a close one...defense will be tough on both sides of the ball. Lafayette wins this one 21-12.
  20. Sunrise, keep everyone posted on Andrew. I hope is alright!
  21. Great job Creek! I knew you had it in you! This is a great win against a well coached team.
