I have said it before...discipline will play a huge part in this game. Special teams will also be a big factor. Lafayette should win this one hands down.

Woodford looked good against Tates Creek. They gave Creek trouble all night at every position. I'm going with WC.

FC is an incredible team, very fast and very well coached. Their lines are both extremely solid. I look for the Flyers to go far this year. I hope their guys get healthy.

Jake Stephens from Lafayette is one of the premier kickers in the state. He just gets better and better each game. This kid will be a major factor in big games.

Big win for Henry Clay. They certainly handled their business and showed they are for real. Congrats to Chris Pardue of Boyle County for being such a class act not only on the field, but in the press as well.

That is what I am saying, I think they are making the transition and will continue to improve. And you are right, they probably should have started transitioning when Heavy was still there.

I think Dunbar has excellent athletes and is an great school. I just think Creek has made some changes within their program and are going to be pretty good this year. And Creek did sputter the first week as did quite a few teams. I could go on, but I don't want it to come out like I am putting anyone down. Some programs just need to make some adjustments.

You bet they do, but they are undeniably better than Dunbar.

Lex Cath is an awesome team with great athletes. Henry Clay always has a huge line and are super athletic. How many times does Lafayette have to beat Henry Clay to get respect? LCA will always be a force to be reckoned with. Dunbar has a lot of making up to do after last season especially with the athletes they have. Creek is looking great this year even though they sputtered in the first game.

Don't get me wrong, I think this will be an awesome game. However, Lafayette is returning the bulk of their defense which served them well last year. Plus Lafayette is such a well coached and disciplined team that I have to give them the edge. Should be a great one to watch.

At the end of the season, let's revisit this.
