Without looking at the schedule, it feels like Scott has lost many close games this year.

Forbes, Stringer, Combs, Schreiver, Suchanek, Ganns, Caple, Spata, Dunn, and Ross will all be in the race. I think Zack Pangallo from NCC will be a someone to watch as well.

I wouldn't say a "pipeline" exactly. Scott had one of their best teams in their history this year and a lot of that was attributed to a rather large and talented senior class. Still, its nice to see this many Scott kids getting opportunities to extend their careers at the college level.

Yeah, I have looked at that and I definitely did see a trend (2011-2013 specifically). I know the better the football team, the more willing you are to go out and play the better teams but its still surprising to me that they wouldn't schedule anyone from inside their own state besides their district opponents. Still a good handful of quality opponents like Bowling Green, Scott County, John Hardin, Highlands, etc. in the upper echelon of classes that could give them some good games and are local.... ish.

Lots of out of state opponents for the Rocks. Is this their desire to play better competition or is it because they are having trouble scheduling in-state opponents? I'd say both but I am surprised that they haven't scheduled anyone in-state outside of the district games they are required to play in.

Suchanek is committed to XU. Combs and Stringer will be D1 players in the future, no doubt about it. They might even be able to get drafted out of high school depending on how they continue in their development.

Honestly, I feel like this region will be to way race between Ryle and Beechwood. Beechwood returns three of the best players in the 9th with Combs, Stringer, and Suchanek. With that being said, don't count out Dixie. They are a team led by catcher Seth Caple and could really make some noise.

Just got to put my two cents in, SK lost much earlier than Highlands did. At least they can say they go to the state championship game. Congrats to both Collins and the Birds.

Usually scholarships are split into 1/4, and 1/2. 1/4 is your basic scholarship but if you're offered a 1/2 scholarship, you're usually thought of as a higher recruit.
