  1. Lost most of their starting linemen. Zak Metz offense and defense hurts, Joe Mabry the wideout and end, the hardnosed lineman in Aaron Meadows and Dylan Dailey plus the loss of Mr. Excitement Aaron Roberts. The cats do return starting QB Josh Terry and RB Aaron Ashby Boyd. There are also some nice youngsters like Caleb Kilburn who at times on defense reminds you of Metz. The line will have to look to Thomas Woods and Shane Day to anchor along with Armitage (returning Center). Ben Everman might be the FB this season. Have to see what Coach Fields and Company comes together with in Spring practive and Summer workouts.
  2. All of Metz's points came in the second half. Taylor Maze really kept the team a float. Trusty was a beast on the boards grabbed a game high 15 10 in the first half.

  6. I would have to add the name of Zak Metz from Bath County to the discussion of a great shooter. 48.9 FG% 44.7 3pt%, 81.9 FT% averages 24.8 points a game and adds 8.1 rebounds playing in the 3 spot. He also draws the defense.
  7. The show case is just that you still have a regular season champion I have been told. Elliott this year did not schedule enough games and those result in a loss when they are not played so Mathmatically they are out of the crown.
  8. Metz set a new career high with 41 in this one. Wildcats had a 30 point lead in the third.
  9. :thumb:' Menifee is the District Host this year!
  10. Must have been the Montgomery Station. The one you are speaking about Rash made it around #2 (Hunt) on the way to the basket then was allowed the NBA continuation and put at the line for 2 shots? (Made one of 2) but hey should have been on the floor cause #2 was 8-10 feet from the basket.
  11. Zak Metz, Taylor Maze,Joe Mabry and Scott Trusty all return.
  12. Funny thing about this series is that Nicholas is always ready to play Bath. Bath County has had a week off how will they rebound and play this week. It should be Bath's night to play pass and catch plus run all over the Bluejackets.
  13. Are you sure about that? Overall Region Elliott County 20 - 2 16 - 1 East Carter 19 - 5 16 - 4 West Carter 16 - 8 13 - 7 Raceland 16 - 8 10 - 5 Rose Hill Christian 16 - 9 10 - 1 Bath County 15 - 4 8 - 3 Fairview 14 - 9 10 - 7 Looks like Bath Might now be 3rd
  14. They did play this team and had something like 50 put up on the Wildcats
  15. As for running up the score the second team started not the usual starters for bath. The played zone all night. The Knights forced way to many deep (DEEP) 3's poor shot selection with no one inside the arc to rebound which result in lots of one and outs. I think that Clemons, Mabry, Trusty, Lyons, & T. Maze who normally have started might of had 6 minutes of floor time. To add to the score not being run up Bath allowed the final 4:21 to dribbled out by the Knights with out even approaching. The score was 89-9 and heave and offensive rebound brought the final up 89-11. The coach of the Knights was mad all night long. They dressed only 6 players.
  16. Bath County will be on 96.3 to start the season but will find a home at the new WKCA on 97.7 soon
  17. Outsider you mean somone out of region or outside of the program> I am not a fan but I work in the 16th Elliott is young and talented team. Starters include Ethan Faulkner 10th Evan Faulkner 1oth Jonathan Ferguson 1oth Chris Knipp 10th Tim Knipp 8th Tyler Maynard 11th They are the main workhorses for the team. Any and every player that laces them up can drain the 3 ball. They will also create havoc with in your face man to man and press full court. They have a real diaper dandy in 8th grader Tim Knipp . Tyler Maynard shoots somewhere around 43% from trey land he is one of the lone upper classmen that comes from the bench he is a Junior. There are under sized but fast and play with tons of heart and dedication. Rick Mays has been at the Helm for many years and this might be one of the most athletic teams around. They block out and did I mention love to shoot the three.
