I dont, I respect Coach Hicks immensley. Its just that I hate when scores are run up like such.

That is my point, I don't honestly believe the score was ran up.

 

This is a delicate subject and any loss, with a point spread of this size, one could and would naturally assume, excessive. I'm all for schools having programs, playing and competing but without seeing Bath County at all this year, I would be fairly accurate in stating a considerable talent difference exists.

 

Piarist is a very, very small school, made of wonderful students and people who are involved. They are just beginning to offer athletics in some sports and scores, will be considerably lopsided against most.

I dare say that many many people around this state respect the Piarist Athletic program.

No disrespect to the Bath County players at all. My question is did Bath Co. play this team last year?? I have only heard of this team one other time. I think, quote me if I'm wrong tried to be scheduled last year at the Greenhouse.

I think the score was ran up, Piarst has a few kids that can shoot, after you get up by a certain amount, back up and let em shoot, jeez.

I agree, back up in a zone. The score is very disrespectful!!

Yeah, and I'm not saying just let the team score, after you back up into a zone, let them shoot, but box out, put a butt on someone and then go score, and then repeat.

As for running up the score the second team started not the usual starters for bath. The played zone all night. The Knights forced way to many deep (DEEP) 3's poor shot selection with no one inside the arc to rebound which result in lots of one and outs. I think that Clemons, Mabry, Trusty, Lyons, & T. Maze who normally have started might of had 6 minutes of floor time. To add to the score not being run up Bath allowed the final 4:21 to dribbled out by the Knights with out even approaching. The score was 89-9 and heave and offensive rebound brought the final up 89-11. The coach of the Knights was mad all night long. They dressed only 6 players.

They did play this team and had something like 50 put up on the Wildcats

Bath Co. played Piarist last year. They scored 100 points on them. Shelby Valley was in the Sweet 16 last year and they played Piarist as well.
