It is crazy to say that nobody has a shot against Elliott. The Rose Hill team in 02-03 was much better than this Elliott Co. team and everyone was saying that noboby had a shot and Ashland beat them in the district finals. That team had O.J. Mayo, Marcus Dawson, Mark King, Zach Gillum, and a bunch of good role players. I agree that Elliott is the best team, but they are a few teams in the region that can beat them.

Bath Co. played Piarist last year. They scored 100 points on them. Shelby Valley was in the Sweet 16 last year and they played Piarist as well.

Bath County's starting center and foward were both injured on the first play of the game and did not play the rest of the night. Zak metz did not play. He is still out with a foot injury. Morgan was 30 of 42 from the foul line. Bath Co. was 9 for 15. Bath Co. also had 5 players foul out. Bath Co. made 7 more field goals from the floor. This was one of the worst officiated games that I have seen in a while. Blandon Clemons had 41 points, but could have had 61 if some more fouls were called.

What was the win - loss record?

EC by 20+. At this point in time... You can't stop them, you can only hope to contain them.

With as much basketball that is played today (all year long) are there actually any young teams as far as experience is concerned? They may be young as far as age, but experienced. It may not be everyone on the team, but several on any given team.

Agreed. GC has talent, but not the type of talent to play the way the coaches want them to play. Not right now. (IMO)

last year before Coach Hicks got suspended, He took His Greenup team over to Fairland and beat them by 12 points. They held Hatfield to 6 points.

I believe this was the first game for RH. I think they need to shake the rust off quicker before heading to Marshall Co. this weekend or it will not be an enjoyable weekend tournament.
