Are you seriously saying that there was a AAAA team from western KY as good as Ryle? I don't think so.

I agree. It is easy to say that it is tradition, not numbers, when you have been under a situation that has the male enrollment doubled vs. every team you play outside of your area. It was time for this change. I totally agree with your point.

I was just trying to reiderate the point that there was too large of a variance at both ends. The people who are upset by the changes are largely the ones that were on the upper end of the variance.

If anyone's line had something to do with their sucess, look at Corey. Ryle has four juniors starting on their line. Also, I think their was enough scoring for the Raiders to win two in a row. Much like they did to us, they wore the Colonels out twice.

However, playing schools with twice your enrollment happens in AAAA often. Sometimes it is close to triple enrollment, therefore, it was time to add classes.

That is true, however, there have been many years that the best A school has been better than the best AA school. This doesn't happen between AA and AAA, or AAA and AAAA very often at all.

One must remember that the only bearing that previous meetings have on a current game is intimidation or motivation. I dont think that any one of these two factors will affect NCC or Danville. This Ryle team lost to Trinity badly when they were sophmores, but they are not the type of team to be intimidated this season. With the record that they have had against NKY football teams, I think that this might come into play with BG against Cov, mostly because I think doubt will be transfered through their coaching staff.

Isn't top three in Louisville, top three in the state? It is not relevant. One team should come out of each region. The same city should definately be the same region.

I can agree with Blesser, I just don't think Highlands had near the defensive interior that they have had in the past this season. That would have hurt against a team like Ryle. Ryle has made marked improvement in their last eight games. Its all what if, but I think we will have a better chance to look at what if after this weekend.
