Just read the bio on Richmond Register. Graduate from Ohio University in 2004. GA there till 2005. Auburn in 2006. Sweden in 2007. 2007 Syracuse. 2008-2009 Warren Central. 2010 Idaho State. That is the best I can summarize it from the article. That is a lot of moving around. Hopefully he will settle down and lead Southern for a while.

Campbell is regarded as a move up. You would get to live near Cincy as well.

I'm just going by history, of what I remember. Didn't he start at Lincoln, leave right before the season, move to Marion, and now he is at Washington, and that has been within 4-5 years, maybe less. In football, more than any other profession there are, movers and shakers, some guys like to move around, some like to stay. I have no idea what he wants. What I do know is he was a heck of a college player, did okay in the NFL and played in Canada for a little while. If he does go to Madison Southern then good luck to him, it's a tough situation. He may be able to get more players out based on his big name. Only time will tell if he wants to stay there for a long time. I'm sure nobody goes into a new coaching situation and says I'm only going to be here for 2 years, things change and minds do as well.

Salmons would be start to stay in Lawrence Co. unless he wants to live closer to Richmond/Lexington. Lawrence is a better situation. Southern didn't have a lot this year. They will struggle for the next couple years. A good coach may have them back to competitive after those couple of years. If you want longevity I'd hire Fred Hoskins if you want a big name hire Craig Yeast, not sure that he will stick for a long time but it might get more kids out in the short term.

There might not be any teaching spots in Berea. That's what happened when McWorter was hired. I don't think the principals husband teaches at Berea. Is it a conflict of interest, probably. But I think different school systems have different rules in that area. Not sure if this is official but I could see it happening.

The size of lineman goes up with the increase in class. More players and bigger kids in the larger classes. Some 1A schools may have 1 kid that is 6'3'' 250lbs. A lot of large schools have kids that size or bigger. I would say 5'10-6'2'' 220lbs-260lbs. Would be the standard I have seen. Some bigger and some smaller.

Bell County graduate and a Union College graduate. He has been coaching at Bell County since Union. A really good guy players should like him if he does get the job.

With the new district this maybe a blessing in the long run. Best of luck to Curtis he is a good coach. Not sure what went wrong at Taylor but he will be a good assistant if he goes back to that position.

Boyle was up by 40 points and tried a halfback pass throwback pass to the QB, then a reverse to Dawson later on, while the running clock was going. On the last drive of the game they had all starters in and got in a hurry up offense with 1 minute left to go. At the same time a student had the old East Jessamine hammer running up and down the sidelines. I got a good look at the post post that was supposedly damaged, not a scratch. Boyle County has 0 class. Maybe Bell can take it to them. I could careless what Boyle supporters think. You can defend your team all you want, and I'm not talking about the kids. They play hard and are very good.

I didn't watch the game. Don't claim to have seen anything on film. But if a kid scored. Then it was called back for a hold the referee did decide the game in the favor of West Jessamine. If a hold was not called and there was holding then they would have decided the game in favor of Holmes.

North should win. There offense is pretty good and defense is okay.

The team that won after Sphire left was loaded for sure. Need to get a better recruiting coordinator. Just joking. Catholic will be better in the future. The QB is for real and the RB's are good too. But I will stand by my comment that it hurt's LC to play in a district with Boyle Co.

I think Catholic is a little down because of the economy which takes away kids. Plus, in my opinion being put in a district with Boyle has hurt them because they are getting beat by them. So, if I were a parent I would probably not put my kids in Catholic because they aren't guaranteed even a district championship anymore.

It was legit. Lamar was in on almost every tackle.

Cameron Thomas, yes he does. He is one of the best backs in the state.

East drove it down to the 10 to start the second half. Then got called for a personal foul. Then threw a INT. Boyle got the ball on the East 35 and scored on a 4th down scramble and throw to take the lead. East had a couple costly turnovers and a fake punt that ended up about a yard short. Boyle scored on all 3. That was the difference in the game.

I think they are going to go through the rest of the season with the interim coach. Not sure if they will hire within the program or outside. I'm pretty sure any alumni would be interested in coaching their old school, especially if it was their first head coaching job. Who is Paul Hester is he qualified to be the next head coach?

The winning team should put in subs first. It is totally ridiculous to expect the losing team to put in subs. They are trying to get better and trying to have some success. Sometimes they are able to have success against the JV team. I have been on both sides of the fence. I am not going to complain if I am up and the other team leaves in the starters, at least I am in the situation where I can play JV players. There a lot of teams that love to run up the score and leave in varsity players, I'm not one of those guys. I really don't enjoy games in which my team embarrasses other teams. We are going to try to score but we are going to do it the right way. Play defense, kick off deep, run the ball.
