Trinity had more kids that could score the ball. X got 2 iffy calls to go against them at the end of regulation that didn't help. Trinity administrators should have shut down the classless cheer towards Connor but not surprising.

You're right a dominant Catholic school in a Catholic town should probably have more non-catholics.......

Some Trinity folks say we only admit super smart kids.... we have nine levels, level 9 being the Xcel program for kids that need extra help. You are correct that we probably wouldn't take a kid that can't read at a 5th grade level. Sorry, there are standards in most things in life. And please don't hit me with the we are more Catholic and accept everyone argument. This is supposed to be a sports thread. Since you bang the drum your ties to Catholicism, how many Catholics make up your football and basketball teams? 50% maybe.... Both X and T have improved diversity over the last 10 years. Glad for that.

I vividly remember watching Males kids celebrate like they won the state championship in the first meeting. I think that bites them in round two....

Some of those things but I think it is more lacrosse, soccer etc... Youth sports specialization doesn't help.

No one ever said X would be better with more players just strange to see such small #'s on either side. Football is a dying sport especially in CSAA. Although public leagues are improving in #'s.

Acceptance for all, especially if you're talented in PE class.....

I am torn on this argument because part of me thinks X having Vic and Duece might have sparked issue. Although, Duece going to Boston College indictates he likely had more than football on his mind in coming to X. Bottom line is X leadership has chosen a different direction and Trinity "like Coach Cal" is winning with a different philosophy. Both work and produce high results. Go Tigers.

IMO, the rivalry is changing because the programs are different than they were even 5-6 years ago. Trinity has a philosophy and X does too. Differences causing fans to not be as engaged or involved. Tigers need to have mistake free game and run football. Go Tigers

I forgot to mention I saw the Ensworth fans players and cheerleaders cleaning up their entire visitor bleachers. Either a very classy move or felt bad about the horns I'm not sure which....

Trinity was very impressive. I was not however impressed with the Trinity fan standing on the 15 yard line on visiting side, green Trinity golf shirt. Taunting their players, coaches and referees. Grown man should not act like this especially high school games. I was embarrassed for our community. I'm sure every fan base has them but this guy was a turd.
