For these young men to get the chance to go to the next level and further their education is an honor and a great opportunity for each of them. It is a positive reflection of their parents, coaches, community & school system and speaks highly of the type of individual they have become. Whatever school they choose to attend I wish them the best.:thumb:

How many players of the team you support saw valuable minutes last season (not counting minutes when the game was out of reach)? When I mention this seasons record,some of the folks from your area I talked with seem to always refer to players not getting valuable PT last year. This is their statement... not mine. Therefore, my post.

Solid win on the road for the Rams. Congrats to Coach Floyd and the Rams on the victory!!! Rams had a very balanced scoring attack led by Tyler Boyles with 25 pts. including 5 three- pointers, Jacob Sparks had 14pts, Peyton Martin 11 and KC Nichols tossed in 10 in the Rams win. C. Hall led the Eagles in scoring with 32 pts. hitting only 1 three-point shot. Free Throws -Rams 7-15 Fairview 12-20 Rebounding- Rams 32 Fairview 36 TO's- Rams 13 Fairview 12

Get you some popcorn a cold Pepsi, sit back and watch some very talented basketball players. Elliott County is loaded with talent and will be the favorite to win this one. Ferguson & the Faulkner twins along with the other EC starters are worth the price of admission. Raceland has some talent as well. Tyler Boyles, Jacob Sparks, Cody Barker and Peyton Martin have all been playing well as of late. Keeton does a nice job also.

That is what good players do!!! and Hall certainly fits that category. As others have stated, if the Rams don't foul then their will be none called.

It will take time as it does with all programs and most Class -A programs go through the rebuilding phase from time to time so the folks from Paris will need to be patient as you have stated and give their support to the kids and their program in a positive manner. I give you an A+ on the advice!!!!:lol:

I have been to a lot of different stadiums through the years and it is hard to find a better place to watch a high school football game than at Putnam Stadium. The atmosphere is fantastic and the storied history of Tomcat football seems to jump out at you the moment you enter the stadium. Hats off to the fine folks at Ashland for their effort to preserve the great tradition of Putnam and I will be looking forward to seeing the new look of the stadium in the future.

:thumb: You are right on with this post Ramcat!! 08 has the potential to be a special year for Ram Football and it will take a total TEAM sacrifice to make it happen. Each individual has to become one and believe 100% in what the coaching staff is teaching. One area I would like to see the Rams improve from last year is becoming a more disciplined football team. Last year saw way too many penalities. It is a tough thing to ask young kids to do but it is part of the intangibles that you mentioned. I'm sure the coaches and players are working hard and as a long time Ram fan I am looking forward to that first coin toss.

Rebounding was also a difference maker as Ironton won the battle of the boards 31-14.

Congratulations to the Rams on the win. Rams did an outstanding job on the boards winning the rebounding battle 32-26. Raceland also did a great job in their transition offense with balanced scoring. Rams got a great effort from Soph. Cody Barker who led the Rams in scoring with 16 ( I think). Peyton Martin had 13. Nice game for the Tomcats Danny Coleman who had a dbl-dbl. ( I apologize to the Tomcats fans and the young Mr. Coleman, I didn't get his totals).
