Ashland 3-2

Fairview 2-3

Boyd 1-4

 

 

This pretty much makes it Rose Hill or Ashland #1 with Rose Hill having the inside track, Fairvew 3rd, Boyd 4th.

Fairview has a nice team.

 

I know Hall and Jackson had a big night for Fairview as did Mayhew from Boyd.

 

Boyd had no answer for Hall and Fairview did have an answer for Selby, which was not allow him the ball. At the same time Boyd did not try to get him the ball. Selby had a lot of rebounds and he received 3 passes all game and he made the shot all three times.

 

Selby did not get a pass in the Post till 47.4 seconds to go in the 3rd Period. That is sad.

You are right, Boyd Co. did not get Selby the ball, but he was out of position all night. When he got the ball he wasn't close enough to the basket to turn and shoot. Fairview out played and out coached the Lions tonight. Their pressure defense gave Boyd Co. fits.

:thumb: He certainly has the bloodlines, I also believe that they are related to Don Rigsby, a great Fairview player in the early and mid 70's. IMO Rigsby and J. Hall were the two best all time at Fairview, they have had some good ones through the years.

Hall is an outstanding player and will be up there with Fairviews best!

Congrats to the Eagles on a big win. The lions had been playing really well lately. This was an important game for positioning in the district.
