It is correct but I am not sure how many times they have faced each other. I think it is only a handful of games in the last 30 yrs. (but that is just a guess).

Austin Hunter also a Boyd County graduate had a great season with Kentucky Christian College in 07 as the Knights fielded a football team for the first time in school history. Hunter ended the season as their leading receiver.

After last nights loss, the Tomcats will come into the Palace hungry for the win. The Rams will see two of the regions better defensive players in Thomas and Coleman so taking care of the basketball will be a key for the Rams. As mentioned, the Rams shoot well at home and have some great defensive players and a very balanced offense. Coach Floyd and the Rams continue to work hard in preparation for district play so I like the Rams chances in this one. Raceland 54 Ashland 50

In the 70's during our away games we wore dress suits with our team logo on the jacket. Our team was horrible but we looked good getting off the bus.:lol:

Nice win for the Rams as Coach Floyd went head to head with his former high school coach Randy Ward. Floyd played for Ward and was an assistant under him at Greenup County. Two others on Floyd's staff, (Tim Veach & Mike Diller) also played for Ward. Congrats to the Rams on the "W".:thumb:

Rams had no answer for the hot shooting Lions as EC shot 17-34 from the three-point line. Elliott Co. also won the rebounding battle 45-29. Eliott Co was led in scoring by Ferguson with 32, Ev. Faulkner 16, and T. Knipp with 14. Jacob Sparks led the Rams with 25 pts & 9 reb, P. Martin had 10pts, T. Boyles 7pts.& 5 reb. Congrats to Elliott County on the win.

Congrats to Boyd County soccer player Jordan Stevens who signed last week to play at Kentucky Christian University. Stevens has been a four-year starter for BC and also carries a 3.85 GPA.

Good win for the Lady Rams. Rams were led in scoring by B. Wilson with 17 points hitting all five of Raceland's three pointers. K. Lewis added 11 in the Rams win. Lady Rams play host to Fairview tonight.
