What was your district prediction? Because this game wasn't near this close. To me this was a predictable outcome Boyd is very suspect when it comes to handling pressure.

Took advantage of the bench to cut into the lead. Boyd had 1 fg in the 3rd quarter and shot at least 2 shots off the bottom of the backboard.

Another nice win for the Royals and a nice bounce back win after what was a REALLY tough loss in Richmond.

Ricky, you know I am pulling for you guys and support you, but seen too many Zornes teams bite other teams in the butt in the Districts, especially when other people think they are out of it. I can promise you after being a member of a Zornes team, that you did not see nothing of what he will try to pull out of the Hat come District time. But the question is, will his players be able to fulfil Zornes wants after his experiments tonight, or will RH be too much?

I understand, Zornes is a good coach with a great resume but if you had seen either game between the two you would see he is fighting an uphill battle. Their lack of guard play is difficult to overcome.

 

FWIW, he made a conserted effort to get the score down pressing Rose Hill's JV team late in the contest.

I seen the first game Ricky and understand your opinion. Boyd definetly has a tough time with the Press.

 

If I were to stick with a Coach in a District game, it would have to be Zornes, now if he can just convince this group of players like he was able to in the Past he will be OK.:thumb: But I also agree sometimes teams are just too overmatched, but still sticking with my prediction, but happy either way.:thumb:

Chad's dunk in the first half was worth the price of admission. I can't believe Zornes has a way to beat the press, and didn't use it in this game. They tried everything.

I have great respect for Zornes as a coach but those teams in the past were much more talented. I guess only time will tell. Anything can happen Rowan beat GRC and that was a much bigger mismatch.

Zornes won't be able to pull a rabbit out of his hat with this team.
