A lot of people have asked for this, so I'm going to try and post it in black and white so it will be a little bigger. This is from a particular play during the ballgame that brought a lot of oohs and aahs (well deserved ones I might add).

Now to the game. I thought it was a pretty good game for both teams. Rose Hill kind of ran away with again, but I think Boyd Co has definitely improved their game from earlier in the season. They handle the pressure a little better, largely due to Mr. Selby helping to defeat the press with cross court passes. I think Boyd ran out of gas in the second half though (their guys looked tired from playing the entire game without much substituting). Rose Hill substitued a lot and got Euton and Jackson extra rest even before the game was out of hand.

 

Before I forget let me mention the officials in this game. I believe this was the best officiated game I have watched this year. Didn't notice bad calls or missed calls. They didn't call too many fouls so that it disrupted the flow of the game. Excellant, excellant job by the zebras.

I seen the first game Ricky and understand your opinion. Boyd definetly has a tough time with the Press.

 

If I were to stick with a Coach in a District game, it would have to be Zornes, now if he can just convince this group of players like he was able to in the Past he will be OK.:thumb: But I also agree sometimes teams are just too overmatched, but still sticking with my prediction, but happy either way.:thumb:

If Rose Hill ever gets a 3rd scorer to step up and score 10-12 points per game, they will be difficult to beat. I still think its going to be hard for 2 players to win the regional tournament, although they are playing much better now than they were earlier this season.

I believe this is the first game in a while that at least 3 guys have not been in double figures. I am pretty sure Davis has been player of the game with Double/doubles in the last few games. The RH fans might be able to confirm this, but I am pretty sure the rest of the Starters have been dropping in quite a few pts as of late.

Goodness sake, that's 2 games in a row that I nearly missed the tipoff. I promised Mrs. King that I'd go with her to the hair parlor to get her hair done, while she was there she got her back waxed. Mercy!

What a solid game by the Royals. I haven't been around as long as some of you, but I'll say one thing, if that coach from Boyd can do magic as you say, maybe he should pull another guard out of his hat, forget the rabbit. They turned it over, and over, and over. And that big Selby boy didn't get many shots in the first half at all. Boyd did hit a few 3's that kept it close for a while in the first half, but Mr. Euton knocked down shots from half court it seemed. Solid defensive performance from RH. I just hope all of these teams that for some reason have have their "worst shooting nights of the year" against Rose Hill keep that up. Boy, I am looking forward to getting the regular season in the rearview and seeing what's up ahead for the post-season.

Very well officiated as someone else said, and that one official that I haven't seen before, kinda looked like Marvin Hagler, was spectacular.
