Does Garrard have the ability to cover ALL of Somersets recievers and double cover Cole at the same time in a 4 or 5 wide set?

I don't see this one being close but It is at Pikeville..

No, we're Somerset 2 time defending regional champs! Your PC, two time 2 win seasons....Sure, at Somerset we like to win every game but if we drop the Correll bowl, oh well we are looking at a bigger picture! Some conversations I have had with PC fans and students, is that they are satisfied with beating Somerset and thats all.

Hines says he wants the Ray Correll Bowl to be played at PC once, it can't happen because Ray Correll is a Somerset legend. PC should host a bowl after someone they consider a legend.

If PC wants to host a bowl, next year should be the first annual Draughn bowl?

No joke. I think its well established that some people on here can't take jokes, some would rather make remakrs about another teams problems than worry about the one they support. Thats all fine and dandy but now i'm gonna talk about the Jumpers and only the Jumpers. Offense: The offensive line was not bad all, they were consistent most of the night. Their run blocking was pretty solid, It seemed like they were able to get a good push in short yardage situations. Pass Blocking was mediocre, it seemed like they were confused by the blitz all night long. That may have been due to the youth that is on the line, 2 sophmores starting at guards. They were able to block as long as it was one-on-one, which is good but once teams see the film on how PC blitzed, they will bring it all year and thats something that they must improve on. Even though the offensive production was good (49), it could've been better. This is one of the things that will come with time. I thought Cole and co. did a good job of catching the ball. Hughes had some nice catches out of the backfield. He also had a pretty good game running the ball. It seemed like he was accelerating at the hole and running north to south. Defense: The defense between the tackles was ok, the defense outside the box wasn't so good. The D-line play was spotty at times. The linebacking corps didn't seem to be too bad between the tackles but it seemed like they had trouble playing outside of that. The secondary, which seemed to be the big key, their pass coverage wasn't bad but their ability to come up, break down and make a tackle was unapparent. Overall, tackling wasn't good but it will come with time I would write about special teams but I'm fixing to head back to GA.

That was the first time that I was able to watch this new freshman group and I was very impressed!

Ok sure you all won the game last year but only by 7 points! Quite frankly we should've beaten you all! However, since SW did win but only by 7, I see that as a dissapointment for you all being as you all had all those "athletes" last year and about 60 more kids than we do, shouldn't you all have blown the poor little city school out of the water? Lets talk about success now! Congrats you all won a District Championship! Lets see, when was the last one you all won one within the last realignment? Now For us, Over the past 4 years Somerset went 21-3 with 3 district championships and 2 regional championships! I prefer to look at overall success than one little game that only means bragging rights and a cool little trophy that says Ray Correll Bowl champion! Thats just a city trophy, we've got the state ones!

Those would have to be some really loud speakers, unless some were installed on the visitor sideline because William Clark field is very wide.

Yeah thats true but on my last visit I got kicked off the practice field by Coach, so I'm liable to get arrested if I dare take a step on the sideline.

I really hope the games get pushed back just so that I won't be so pressed for time getting to the game. I'll basically be out of luck for a good seat. Someone should be nice enough to save me a seat!

Thats scary to think about! Lets see, the last time he played against PC he was a sophmore, now he is a Senior and an overall better player since that game so.. We'll see how he fares!
