Old college friend of mine has a son that plays for the Black Bears. She told me this morning that I would be impressed with them. I may travel to Clark next week and check them out myself.

I don't guess anyone from Franklin County had any say as for who was elected out of there region. Pretty sure Bo Queen would not have been recommended.

I'm pulling for Knox Central, BUT to be the man you have to beat the man !! Bell is the favorite.

My guess is they would rather play for a state championship no matter how big the crowd.

Campbellsville is a hidden gem. Good school with fantastic community support. Congrats to this young man for making a solid choice for his next four years.

You have a clock because there's a time limit. The goal is to score more points than your opponent during that time period. Franklin County did but the refs missed it...badly !

Bell County's old gym was a nice place to play. They were tough there as well.

I played there back in the seventies. Bobby Keith had everybody intimidated when you came in there.

Ego is what worries me about some referees. I think some of them don't understand that the best referees are not really noticed during a game. I hate when a referee continues to have conversations with coaches or players. When a situation occurs there friendly banter has now opened up the flood gates. Once again let me say I wouldn't have there job.

I will say this to be fair...I wouldn't have there job. :thumb: Isn't it ironic that he is the ref you saw giving the technical or throwing someone out.

I know you didn't want us to be negative. I have witnessed several games by Bo Queen. Every game I have seen him call he T's up someone. I'm talking 15 games at least... :idunno: If he would take his conditioning more serious, he probably would have a better chance of being in the right place at the right time.

I think its a down right shame that politics play such an important part in the Knox County schools. There is talent there but it seems by the time they get to the high school level. Interest is lost or there beat down. I hate it for the kids.

Lafayette will be to athletic for Montgomery County.

Cody Miller had a decent game. Lafayette had a 12 point lead at half then blew it open early to start the second half. Lafayette was just to athletic for Knox Central. I was surprised with how well Lafayette could shoot the ball.

Looks like overtime !
