They literally have no weapon on offense, i will not say there defense is not great because it is..but losing aumiller on the dline and then losing mcshara its easy to see they are down. Going to Johnson Central was a very impressive win, but after that Boyle hasnt played anybody of any note at all. So you cant even begin to compare teams because we havent seen this team face a true opponent yet. Tomorrows game will be intense, loud, a senior night game, atmosphere alone will be a different animal than anything boyle has been in this year i would imagine...gonna be a way closer game than the 21 point spread many people are putting on this game.

The same 04 boyle team that had won 62 straight games...and that game was alot closer than the scoreboard indicates. 05/06 would have absolutely dismantled boyle if they did play, and 07 beat boyle quit soundly..boyle has had the number for the past few years no doubt. but mcshara mcshara mcshara..for your sake i hope im wrong about dawson but im not a fan on his junk, im a realist and we will all see the true dawson here within the next couple of years.

Yea i cant wait to see that, even with a young Catholic defense that isnt nearly as good as teams of the past you might be in for a big surprise, u and the rest of the state. Next years looks promising, but Kyle Bolin is coming out of the 2013 class.. Im not arguing Doss was any better than anybody else im just saying who went where.. Burke and Fidler might not be a top class but 2 kids going to 2 very competitive college conferences is somewhat impressive.. Alright, same as Micah Johnson...sure he looks good in a uniform and made an NFL roster but he will never be any better than a practice squad/ special teams player... he was extremely overhyped and was HORRIBLE AT KENTUCKY which is why they cant ever get past the music city bowl. These college coaches will be disappointed when Dawsons career is over with and he will live in titletown living on memories probably without a college degree

The quarterback is getting looked at by Tennesse, South Carolina, Louisville, Uk, Bama, Arkansas, Notre Dame... Then the one freshman is the son of Marc Logan, university of Kentucky standout and Retired 12 year Nfl veteran for the 49ers, he will undoubtedly follow his fathers footsteps and go to Uk.. His cousin John Logan was also an all state performer who went to Uk, and other cousin Brandon Logan was an all state performer as well who went to The University of Michigan. The other running backs are getting looked at by smaller D1 schools, James Maddox brother played at Union College but he should end up playing much bigger ball, and lastly Amoh Kumengisa is quite possibly the most surprising and talented of the backs. No doubt they will be a force in the future.

They should call them the Highlands hybrids cause they just keep reproducing...

Highlands could be playing cincy st x, trinity, louisville st x, elder, moeller, miami northwestern to get to the finals...it dont matter when you put them up against a west school they will be ready to play and if they do have injuries their backups are good enough to beat a good deal of west teams anyways.

Its crazy, ratings are ratings...And i feel as if having middle school rankings now is a complete joke but watching this kids grow and develop surely has been a real joy. I know highlands and covcath will be reloading and Ive heard good things about covcaths Frosh team. Should be a real treat to watch the 4A class unfold these next couple of years. I do think Boyle is on the downslide now that mcshara is gone though.

LexCath will be back by next year, with the #1 rated quarterback in the nation at the helm having a year of experience...3 D1 running backs all gonna be Juniors or younger, i fully expect Lexcath to compete and possibly dominate the competition next year, only problem will be lack of strength in the schedule next year as trinity and st x are off the schedule.

Boyle, Highlands, Cov Cath, Lex Cath....Get real the west will never win, they have no talent out west and strength of schedule will prove to come in handy when the east meets the west.

Maybe im just a big fan, but i will tell you that Lex Cath is not trying to dodge highlands in any way. They have met twice in the playoffs, both teams having wins at the other teams field. Highlands at this moment in time in my opinion is and has been the best team in the state of Kentucky for the past 3 years. St X and Trinity arent in a class of there own, Highlands is the true top dog of this state. But i will gaurentee this, when lexcath and highlands meet in 2011/2012, you might see some of the greatest football the state has ever seen. Both these schools have pools of young talent so look for them to dominate in the next couple of years.

Yall have to realize this Lex Cath team is literally the youngest team that they have ever had.. They are starting to put the pieces together though and are looking tough. Being apart of the 2004-2007 teams i have seen some of the great Lexcath teams kick the Word Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violation out of Boyle. These past couple of years Mcshara has been maybe the most consistent player in the state and is the reason Boyle co was Boyle co. I think that Dawson is a genetic freak that is way overhyped and wont pan out at the college level. Saying that i feel like it will still be tough for Lexcath to pull this one out but i feel as if Boyle will have a hard time putting up points against a lexcath defense that is really starting to understand the 3-5 defense. With lexcath its all about getting on the board early and wrapping up on defense and not letting Boyle get the big play..look for special teams to be a big factor and if Boyle pulls that trick play Word Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violation out of their pocket it could be a long night for the knights. LexCath's talent is just too young to compete with X right now. The Talent is there just not polished yet. I can see X winning this game by 4+tds and maybe more. I sure hope I am wrong, but the brain says otherwise.
