He's not going to get any support on BGP... But Cameron Hall of Glasgow is an amazing shooter. I haven't seen anyone wear a Glasgow jersey and shoot as well as he does since the Brandon Stockton era.

I totally agree with that statement. I believe the Patriots could probably play with anyone in the region easily if they'd just keep their cool and play smart ball. They did that their first game with Glasgow and won by about 4. However, the second game between the two Glasgow won by 20+ points. ACS simply came unglued and got very aggrivated. Your not going to win many games with a hot head.

Not a suprise to see ACS lose their composure. They're pretty bad about doing that. How did Bunton and Hayes do? I'm assuming the Dragons gave them fits?

Maybe not... But I also stated that I was a little bias towards them since they're in the 4th region and all.

They lost 7 games that year. The last game they lost was Jan. 17th, '04 against Fern Creek in Louisville. After the football players started getting back into Basketball shape they really blew it wide open.

Dewalt would've shut him down without a doubt. It's very easy to say something would've happend but it didn't. Again, I think with or without Wes Jones, Warren Central still would've won. As far as Overtime goes... Dragonfire practically took the words out of my mouth. If your the best team in the state you win in regulation. Warren Central never needed regulation. Enough said.

Dewalt overrated?? :lol: The dude was a freak! Not only did he lead the WC basketball team to the State Championship, he also almost single handily beat St. X in the State Semi-Finals of Football. I'm not so sure about the Cov. Cath. comment. Does anyone remember what Dewalts stats were in that game? As far as Mason County goes... Wes Jones or no Wes Jones... There was no denying Warren Central that night or any other night for that matter. After Warren Central's basketball players got back and adjusted from Football, they went undefeated. Everyone has their opinion though and that's cool. I just feel differently about the '04 Dub-C.

Accomplished more? No. But how was competition that year? I'd like to see that team against the Russellvilles and Etowns of '99 and '00. I just don't see hardly anyone stopping the Tony Key's or Antwan Barbours.

I apoligize if a similar thread is already up... I don't read this forum as much as I should. I'll go ahead and be the homer and say the '03-04 Warren Central Dragons. I am willing to say that however high anyone in the state could jump that year that Lonnell Dewalt could just 6 inches higher. The talent on that team was unreal!

Glasgow had a big turnaround. They went from 8-3 to 0-11... Not exactly the turnaround you'd want though. :ohbrother:

Sounds like Glasgow put a thumping on ACS at Allen County tonight! Now both teams are tied for first in the 15th district race and are on a collision course to meet again in the championship for the 2nd straight year! Great game Scotties!

It was just 4 or 5 years ago Warren Central gave St. X all they wanted at Lt Smith Stadium in the 4A semi-finals. I believe Brock Whitney fumbled it on the 1 yard line about to go in for the lead and pretty much the game. They've definitely had the talent over on that side of BG... I would imagine they'd be back in the scramble soon.

I'm assuming that you meant to quote my other post. I'm very familiar with Bowling Green. And to say that Bowling Green poses more as a threat then Louisville does is absurd. Being the larger city, Louisville is the more likely for drugs, assault, etc...

No way it's any worse in BG then it is in Louisville. As far as safety goes... I feel safer at WKU then I would anywhere in Louisville.

I'd have to disagree. I love the fact the games are at WKU now... But the parking is not driver friendly. Chances are a majority will end up in the parking garage which is a pain in the rear!

It's the water. Louisiville folks drink the Ohio River water where as folks in Lexington drink out of a well.

As long as Antionio Andrews is at FC... I see the Falcons soaring to LT Smith. As far as the Bluebirds go... I see them 3 peating.
