As long as Szabo and Renner are still at Ballard they aint going anywhere. Male may compete with them but wont dominate

2017 was nice. It worked out were the best teams were in the final four. No none will ever agree to seeding it so that has a chance to happen every year. As for this year, which I thought you were referring to the semi finals were bad with 30 pt games and low attendance. Would have been nice if it was Trinity/Cov Cath and maybe Scott Co./Fern Creek in semis. No one wants seeding but the two best attendance was when you had the best teams playing. Scott Co./Trinity and the finals.

There were some good games but overall was not good basketball. The semi finals were 30 pt blowouts, one with a running clock. The championship while a decent game was a 18 pt game. The semi finals used to be epic. If the games don't interest you than you leave to watch the NCAA.

Disagree! Scott Co has yet to lose to a Ky school. I see Warren Central maybe challenging them. After that Covington Catholic is the only team that can beat them.

Just watched the replay on the NFHS network and it was a foul that would have been called at any other time in the game. Why you don't call it there is up to the officials. Didn't like Trinity calling a timeout allowing Scott Co to get a set play. Maybe Hicks calls a timeout. Also wouldn't have had Johnson inbounding the ball on last play. Give Scott Credit for doubling him when he got it to force him to get rid of it. Great game!

Wish I could attend also. Crazy that the KHSAA wont change game times. This is a marquee matchup at 1:30. I would make the trip for a later game. Will have to sell my tics.

9th region was terrible throughout the whole tournament. It was if they came in with the attitude its Louisville and we are just gonna let them play. Then they realize it is getting to physical and start calling touch fouls. The last call was terrible. One official chased J-Town coach all the way down to the end of the bench. Jason Frakes tweeted he said to coach Duncan, "Don't you walk away from me." Basically baiting him. Coach Walked away as to not say anymore to let it go. With that being said, Do not count out Fern Creek as long as Anthony Wales is on the Court. Best point guard in the state. He doesn't panic or get excited just makes plays for Fern Creek.

Maybe Ballard should rethink not playing Trinity in the regular season. They didn't meet in any tournaments this year.

Tough loss for Fairdale. Led most of the game. 54-45 with 5:45 to play. Doss Stephon Franklin came up big scoring 20 of 24 points in the last 9 minutes of the game. Fairdale's Craig Ashe dunk tied it at 70 but Doss gets game winner with 3.9 left on a loose ball put back. Great game.

Because there is no class system everyone deserves a chance at post season.

Looking forward to Fridays Fairdale/Fern Creek game. I liked how Fairdale competed against Butler. Probably should have won. Led most of the game, but to Butler's credit they regained the lead with about 3 minutes left and won. I would still consider Fern Creek the favorite. After the LIT, Its a grind to post season. Sometimes I think the best teams or early favorites get a little bored during this time. I would expect Fern Creek to kick it up a notch during the post season. The 6th region tournament should be really good.

I would say that the first was not a shot attempt but a pass. The second is a legal shot attempt not a pass.

Yes. There may be a period where you have to sit while they are ruling on the case. Once the case has been ruled on and the player has to sit then they can play JV ball

Final. The dawgs rallied from 24 pts down to start the fourth qt 72-48 to win on OT as Glenn Queen hit the winning basket at the buzzer. Huge win and comeback for Fairdale. Fairdale will be the #1 seed in the 21st district. PRP and Valley will have to play each other in the first rd.
