Fern Creek becomes the 4th team in a row from the 6th region to go back to back as Regional Champions joining Doss, PRP, and before that Bullitt East. It was not easy beating District rival Jeffersontown for the third time this season.

Fern Creek never found their normal flow with Ahmad Price in early foul trouble forcing him to sit as he picked up his third before halftime. Anthony Wales picked up the slack and had a team high 17 for the Tigers. Clint Wickliffe had 12 with 7 rebounds. Price still finished with 6 rebounds and 8 points.

Junior Chris Trigg was the only Charger in double figures with 14.

I don't know what to think about Fern Creek. Kudos for winning the 6th but it doesn't seem like they are as dominant as they once were. Maybe they'll put it all together at State.

Jason Frakes posted the final video of the drive and foul with 5 seconds left. Wasn't the best video but definitely looked like a play on.

9th region was terrible throughout the whole tournament. It was if they came in with the attitude its Louisville and we are just gonna let them play. Then they realize it is getting to physical and start calling touch fouls. The last call was terrible. One official chased J-Town coach all the way down to the end of the bench. Jason Frakes tweeted he said to coach Duncan, "Don't you walk away from me." Basically baiting him. Coach Walked away as to not say anymore to let it go. With that being said, Do not count out Fern Creek as long as Anthony Wales is on the Court. Best point guard in the state. He doesn't panic or get excited just makes plays for Fern Creek.

I'm hearing that Jtown might have gotten a raw deal in this one. FC's problem is a go to scorer. @coachlee already stated this earlier this year, but the loss of Chance Moore might have affected this team more than initially thought. They are gonna defend you for the entire game and if you don't have the guard play to deal with their pressure you're toast.
