Cov Cath's Michael Robinson
Well then I hope Michael averages 200 yds. a game then.:isurrender: There should be an egg on face smiley.

Dixie/Highlands Predictions
I see. I thought you were just stating the obvious. I hope there aren't any "Bluebird" fans thinking otherwise.

Dixie/Highlands Predictions
I hope they come to play. Why wouldn't they? I assume as I hope Highlands does that every team they play comes to play and hopes to beat them.

Dixie/Highlands Predictions
Yes 7:00pm. That I do know.

Cov Cath's Michael Robinson
Great article on Michael. I don't know him, but he sounds like a wonderful young man. Michael I hope you average 400 yards catching over the next two games. 400 against JC and none against Highlands:) In all seriousness continued success and thanks for an inspiring article.

Simon Kenton/Manual Predictions
This is the scariest game of all this Friday. I saw Manual play much earlier in the year and they are very athletic. Next to St. X Cincinnati IMO it was the most athletic team Highlands faced all year. Simpson will have to have a great game, which I'm sure he probably will.

I think you are right!

Who (Other than You-Know-Who) Could Win 5A?
I agree with the rich part. "Rich in tradition", "Rich in history", but most of all "Rich in work ethic." That's why there will be no whipping this Friday.

Saint Xavier/Ryle Predictions
This is not really even close to being accurate. It is your lack of balance that will ultimately be your demise. I would love to see you knock those guys off in Louisville and hope I can get back on here on Saturday morning and have crow for breakfast.

Dixie/Highlands Predictions
Just because a team plays the Birds tough doesn't mean the Birds took anything for granted. There were several fumbles in that game from a back that was freshly returning. Bryan Station was good and very athletic. That was the reason for the close game.

Covington Catholic/Johnson Central Predictions
I think Cov. Catholic squeaks by. I really thought Cov. Catholic would have handled Woodford Co. in a much easier fashion yesterday. That doesn't bode well for them when you realize Woodford only beat Montgomery Co. by 6. If JC's defensive effort against Scott is an accurate barometer then Cov. Catholic should be ok.

5A - Best Chance to win it all.
I think you meant to say talent.

Highlands 31 Ryle 14
I'll let this go, but I don't mind a coach saying it either. I just thought it was more of the the pot calling the kettle black. :isurrender:

Highlands 31 Ryle 14
Well that's admirable that he does those things. I'm just telling what the coach I saw tonight said. My statement is not unfounded. I'm sure if you ask him if he said that #29 was a cheap shot artist he would tell you yes. He is a very boisterous guy that sticks out when he's yelling. It just happened to be in front of the highlands crowd. Cooperstown really had the better argument. "So what if he said it." I listened to the coach a lot tonight. I did not hear him say to take anybody out.
-
Highlands 31 Ryle 14
Well Copperstown I hate to burst your bubble, but the coach I talked about in the first game was the same guy yelling that #29 was a cheap shot artist. That's the plain and simple truth. I was vey close to him when he said it and saw the words leave his mouth. I only mentioned minister because it was mentioned in a post after the first game. Whether he is a minister or not I might be mistaken about, but I'm deadly accurate about what he said tonight during the game.

Highlands 31 Ryle 14
Tyler Fennell was very very good tonight.

Highlands 31 Ryle 14
I was chastised the first game we played Ryle for pointing out his antics and was told he was a very nice guy, a preacher I believe. Though tonight I did not hear him say to take out any players he repeated many times that #29 for Highlands was a cheap shot artist. All I have to say to you sir is that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I'm sure you've heard that one before.

Highlands/Ryle (Part II) Predictions
I look for the Birds to make a strong statement tonight.

Fort Campbell VS Hopkinsville
Meant to vote for FC - Good luck in the playoffs

Highlands/Ryle (Part II) Predictions
Assuming what you stated is accurate I'm sure Dale thought beating two of Ohio's powerhouses in one year would have been to demoralizing. He's trying to be a kinder, gentler coach.

Highlands/Ryle (Part II) Predictions
As a Highlands fan I have a tremendous amount of respect for Ryle's program. You didn't duck or hide and stepped up twice this year against a nationally ranked team. Thank you for giving us a game so late in the year. You will be a better football team for doing it and I will be rooting for you in the playoffs.

Is Simon Kenton #2 in 6A ?
I think the lost to Henry Clay will keep haunting SK as far as rankings. Henry Clay only beat a winless Madison Central by two touchdowns last week. I believe NC handled Madison Central without a lot of trouble.

Highlands 36 Covington Catholic 7
I also watched the video of the game. I would not have said this before the game on Saturday, but after viewing the tape the Birds are very capable of putting up 60 again on the Colonels.

Highlands 20 Covington Catholic 14 (JV)
If you're complaining about flags, clock, announcer, and the music in a J.V. game, then maybe you need to adjust your priorities. Last year Cov.Cath. whipped Highlands J.V. and that turned out to be meaningless. If I'm a Highlands fan I would be pleased with the performances of several underclassman.
