SK can win regardless of weather conditions. They have team speed and size to match up with the best in state.

I think Manual will have a difficult time stopping SK' offense because of their ability to run and pass from multiple formations.

Manual was being compared to Henry Clay's speed I haven't yet had a chance to see Manual is this true??

Not even close as far a speed. Henry Clay is very fast but what really hurt SK was their lack of adjustments to the formations that HC ran. HC would out formation SK to the outside and run jet sweep around it.

I saw Manual play against Conner last Friday. They are a physical team, but had difficulty stopping Conner's passing games a lot of the time. I see Lawrence having a big game passing, and Simpson having a big game on the ground.

Maybe the home crowd will be a factor, as most home games for the Pioneers are packed, since this is a playoff game look for the rest of Independence to be a ghost town other than at Chlorine Menefee.

When HHS played Manual earlier in the year I was impressed with their linebackers..They seemed to be all over the field in that game..

HHS ran a lot of tight formations and between the tackles a couple times they ran trips/ closed and ran sweep to the trips side. Manual had trouble stopping that play.

 

HHS also threw 3 int. none of which were forced the qb made bad decisions because there were wide open wr on those plays.

After viewing their stats, it appears like they favor the run but it's not just one player, they have four guys over 300 yds on the ground. What type of offense do they run?

I thought they were a WingT team, and you don't see many of those. That type of offense is hard to prepare against, plenty of deception. What defensive style do they bring?

I think what will help SK is that there defense is based upon attacking gaps and not reading first.

 

 

Manual runs 4-4(4-3) similar to Boone, Campbell, and Conner.

I pick Sk to win, but Manual is going to put up some points.
