There is a thread in General Discussion about the correlation between financial resources and sports success. It would be interesting to see everyone's thoughts on this.

With no disrepect to Turkeyfoot, I am not sure that anyone at this age with the possible exception of very few D1 AAU teams has found a way to contain Stanley.

I am sorry. I just don't get this. I realize that the coaches are empowered to pick their team and rightfully so but what do you think the varsity coaches thoughts are on this? Or is he too busy trying to figure out how to make it out of the district....

This situation is not unique to Campbell County. Several schools had large numbers come out. Gray from my understanding had more than Campbell County. What options do the other schools make available for the kids that don't make the team?

Between Midwest and the new place in Anderson Township, it may be tough sledding for SOAS.

Gray will be very strong with several Wolfpack (aka NK Knights) kids leading the charge. Moss will be hard for anyone to handle on the inside.

I am not 100% sure of this but I heard that the Ville is not together this year and that one or two of the players is with the Knights. Take it with a grain of salt, just what I had heard. They played last year and I think the Ville clipped them by low single digits.

I agree. Nobody touches Ockerman unless Stanley gets pulled up. He is really fun to watch. Nobody can stay with him.

Chance to play different teams. The season at McGee's is 20 games so it provides the opportunity to play more games without having to tie up both Saturdays and Sundays in tournaments. It also starts in December so we can practice for a few weeks and not have to worry about overlapping with football.

The 7th grade Knights team will be one of the best teams in the state this year and a real contender for the D1 title. They will be able to compete well with the 8th graders at SOAS.

Kes is very humble. I see him on a daily basis and I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt he was excited about the potential opportunity to coach at NDA.

I would check your source. I can confirm that Kes is 100% interested in the job.

Euton is the future of UK basketball? He wasn't even the second best player on his team tonight nor the top 5 on the court. The last player UK received from Scott County hasn't played in 1/2 the games they have had this year...

Isn't the "All A" set up for this very reason?

I am looking forward to it. Although I am not from either school, I appreciate watching really good teams play so it should be fun.

Hasn't MC's freshman team only lost one game in the last 3 years? Seems like I saw something about that earlier in the year. If that is the case, MC might have a long stretch coming.

Congratulations to the Royals. What a difference a year makes. This time last year all of the talk about MC was weather or not they should fire O'Hearn. Good luck MC and congratulations.

Congratulations to the Cards. They were the best team when it counted. PC had plenty of opportunities but missed foul shots in the first half and numerous layups throughout the game cost them. I think both MC and GRC will represent the 10th well in Lexington and we will be pulling for them.

I see this game very even. PC has beat us twice by 6 and 1. I am sure that each team will bring their "A" game. According to the scores I saw the first game was by 13 on a neutral court.

I am not sure that I have an opinion either way. I have seen both teams play several times this year. I am surprised at all of the predictions for Brossart given their year end slide and their loss to Mason on their own home court. I hope it's a good game for both teams.

Can anyone help me out and let me know what days the 10th region tournament is next week? Thanks.
