Fookes is a fan of Stamm's...and agreed to play Ludlow out of respect for him and what he has done. Boone will reload so now is the time to get them while they are down.

You did see Conner's varsity team at Thomas Moore. They are very good and probably the top team in the region. They are underrated now, but that will quickly change when the season rolls around.

Fair enough. I have never seen GC play and will admit I was pleasantly suprised with what they brought to the table and their heart.

24sMom...you may be absolutely right; however, with all due respect you haven't seen Boone or Highlands Varisty teams...They used these games as they should have by playing and developing their young players (soph's & freshmen to-be) regardless of the outcome. Be proud of your team, but keep things in perspective since this is summer. Have a great season!

Dana Morningstar. She has been the asst head for nearly 10yrs. She is a Newlywed and committed to coach until her husband completed medical school. They are now pursuing life without Bball. It is extremely time consuming so its easy to understand.

IMO...there are several other factors that contribute as well. There is a huge difference when they step into a large arena and that atmosphere. There is also such a big difference in depth perception and most players are not conditioned to play on a 94ft floor.

8th - absolutely SK. The best team in NKY. Their non-conference schedule will determine their post season fate again this year. 9th - ND, Conner, NCC, Highlands, and Boone...in that order, but is always subject to change after transfers..of course. 10th - Montgomery, Mason, and Paris

And what happened to Coach Murphy?

According to one of the NDA players....Katie defintely has a torn ACL. This is an absolute shame for this kid. These girls have heart and will step it up a notch. Good Luck Pandas

It depends on which team controls the tempo. If it is a slower half-court game then NDA's big's will have a field day. If it is a faster game then Shelby can hang with them if they are knocking down shots. Shelby is so inconsistent. This team went to triple OT against SK, then beat SK by 20, and also lost to BC by 25. They are like a box of chocolates.

NDA will be the favorite and should be. BC's schedule will be the same next year, but most of the top teams will be at home. Ncc...nice try...please get your facts straight before posting..One poster stated "is this the best team ever".. The BC faithful shot it down immediately; however, the BC haters jumped all over it.

I felt as though NDA would walk into the final four. IMO the possible second round match-up with Rose Hill could be interesting. NDA is not as dominant when opposing team's can match-up with their inside game. RH is not as strong on the perimeter; however, their two big's are as good as it gets. Good luck to NDA!!

Congratulation’s to NDA. They have been by far the most consistent team this year and have earned where they are. Good Luck CJ!! Boone is the only team in the 9th that is not intimidated and can match-up with them. ND will cruise until the semis at the State tournament. You are correct Phoenix....Unfortunately; the kid wears her emotions on her sleeve. The thought of letting down her coach/teammates means more to her than most could ever imagine. I personally cannot imagine the intense pressure of running the floor for such high profile program, an extremely tough schedule, and for such a demanding coach. The expectations are incredibly high, but overall, she has come along way and has handled it fairly well for such a young kid. Until she can control her emotions she does not deserve to put on the Boone uniform.

Here is an eerie piece of trivia for ya. The architect who designed Boone’s gym back in 1955 was Nell’s father in-law. He built a gym that his unborn Daughter in-law would make history in over 50yrs later. Now that is the definition of a very small world.

Unless she or Kues had a change of heart, then it is true. She is such a wonderful young lady and a very good ball player. She is only a Soph so I truly hope something works out for her.
