NCC06
This was a heck of a game Tierney played a very good game... She did a very good job of controlling the game... Hope that she is okay after the injury as the clock expired
cshs81
First priority is to advance and NDA did that. Congratulations. I'm very concerned about the free throw shooting by the NDA guards. I hope that doesn't come back to bite them.
NCC06
Yes they did not shoot it very well from the line at all... However to look at it from a positive they shot it very well down the strech

cshs81
Sounds like the injury to Katie T. could be serious. Its my understanding that she left the court on a stretcher with her leg immobilized.
NCC06
This is a heartbreaker for this team... She controls so much of there offense...

The Professor
Congratulations to Notre Dame. BTW, the Lexington Herald-Leader stated in their state tournament previews of each school, that Notre Dame has an enrollment of over 1,900. Was that a typo? I just can't see them having that large of an enrollment.

3ptshooter
584 students according to the school website. If Katie is hurt, that is a tremendous blow to the team. For everyone that has watched her play this yr she is non-stop and plays the game hard and to the fullest. I have seen her hit the floor several times in a game, face first against Boone and always gets up so hopefully she pulls thru this and just has a strain. bgpreppy
How did Jackson play? Quite a bit of pressure on her after the great article that was written in the post today. http://news.kypost.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070315/SPT0402/703150315/1026/NEWS02 :dancingpa :dancingpa
NCC06
The Cincinnati Enquirer roported that after the game NDA coach Darpel said that she thinks that tierney tore her ACL and that she would be out the remainder of the tourney...Hopfully the Pandas can rebound and continue there march through the tourney although it is going to be very tough without her. Also hope that katie can rehab well and be back for a good senior year!!!
