The only way Graves keeps it close is if they hold the ball for 3:00 minutes at a time.Not bashing Graves but if they let South get up by 12-15 early I feel this will be the beating of all beatings.There is no emptying the bench in the 3rd quarter in the sweet 16.

I dont think schools would have trouble finding a good volunteer,but as far as funds go I'm sure each school would find a way.Take me for example,go borrow it from a bank for something you really want but maybe could do without.LOL

I hope so...As far as as expense,I dont see it being that big of a deal with all the boosters these days.Shot clock installations are not that expensive,and as far as the extra ref to run it they could appoint some of the refs in each region that are "not so good" and bring in some younger eyes.Just a thought:ylsuper:

Was wandering if anyone thinks we will see shot clocks in highschool in Kentucky.I know they use them in Cali. highschools and would go out on a limb and say if it was possible to look it up that Cali. highschool teams average 15-20 more points a game than KY schools.I would loved to have seen it at the end of the Graves-Russell game when Graves held the ball for probably 7 minutes in the fourth.Also do you think it would even the playing field(or court),or would it make it even more difficult for the less athletic teams.I would personally love to see it and dont know why it is'nt brought up more often.It would prepare the kids for college ball too.

Look at all those kids going to Kentucky!!And they say Tubby cant recruit.At least they got the #88 ranked player in Derrick Jasper?and the #94 player in Jodie Meeks?On a serious note,how do they consider Cook out of Dayton,Ohio a west player but these kids from Indiana east players?My geography may be off but I thought Indiana was farther west than Ohio.Must feel sorry for the west.

Truth be told,South is probably 15pts. better than Boyle,15-20pts better than anyone they will play after W-burg in the district and region.But the biggest problem is that the South players think this too.Dont get me wrong Boyle deserved this one 100%.South has had to many games of late were they play horrible and give the other team every chance in the world to win but the opposition is to intimidated at the end of the game and blow it.Boyle took advantage of the horrible shooting night South had and the poor game planning and beat South period.If Wright does'nt get it in these kids heads that he will let them know when to back off or to take it easy,than the only reason they go to Rupp is to sit in the stands and watch kids who stayed focused.

South will have to learn to quit playing to what they think the competition is.They also let teams of late decide the pace of the game instead of dictating the flow of the game.If they cant shoot better than 14-52 for 26% against Boyle(no disrespect) they might as well plan on staying in London for march.Wright has his work cut out for him.He should'nt have to,but he has to let these guys know that noones going to roll over for them.

Final.On a very very boring game which South shoots as bad as you possibly could.Great when for Boyle going into districts. :creepy:

Where in the world is Zach Marcum from South Laurel?At the pre-season camps at U.K. all the coach's and scouts said Zach was one of the best WR's there if not the best. :confused: :confused:

I'd say 80% horrible 15% are all-right and the other 5% need to try something else thier so bad.

I understand that he wants to compete against the best and there is no better place to do it than the SEC. You have to like that about him! To bad he won't actually get to play against the best.LOL :laugh: :laugh:

No they didnt play there subs until just a minute or so to go.As bad as it looks on paper it was even worse in person.They could have easily won by 60.

We'll see how good Hicks is friday night when he comes to South laurel to play.If he holds his own you could have a point,since these other guys they talk about probably has'nt seen that kind of competition.
