  1. I just don't see South blowing-out anyone this season, especially a cross-town rival like North.Heck even when South was so dominant they hardly ever blew-out North.
  2. Well,I would hate to think that he didn't know that was part of it when he signed up for the job.As far as the name of the ref,I am not going to throw anyones name around on the internet but the fact that he is from Corbin came from a couple of Corbin fans that lived near him.
  3. Nobody has ever explained how a ref from Corbin is a ref in a Corbin game. But like I said I am not a fan of MC or Corbin, and from a whole lot of unbiased eyes it looked like blatant favoritism.
  4. Shouldn't be close, but with some of the home-cooking 13th region refs I have seen so far, it is by no means a gimme.
  5. Corbin and Cumberland would be a great game after Corbin gets Crawford back.
  6. Yes they did struggle from the stripe. From what I thought was always a good free-throw shooting team.I felt kind of sorry for the little guy at the end of regulation though.
  7. I don't know which foul your talking about for sure, but I do know that both of MC's big guys fouled out against a much smaller Corbin team along with there best point guard and Corbin had none even in foul trouble.
  8. I think they should have different region refs for these tournaments so there isn't any eyebrows raised at some of the calls. You definitely shouldn't have 13th region refs when two 13th region teams are hosting it.
  9. Oh yeah they move on and hey,if it was my team I could care less what people thought as well. It's still a W for Corbin.
  10. Yeah, you definitely heard wrong. This was the only game I have ever watched that I could predict the calls.Like the one that was called (from behind) on MC with only a couple of seconds left and the game tied for God only knows why.Guess who made that call.......Yep the bald guy.I called that one before the ball was inbounded.
  11. Yeah,it was actually a really entertaining game to watch.Unfortunately I don't think the Boone vs. South game will be that entertaining.
  12. Well first of all I want you to know that I am not a fan of either team,so keep that in mind. But this was one of the most lop-sided called games I have ever witnessed at any level.I was setting around some Corbin fans and even they was laughing at some of the calls.I guess the funniest call of the night was when none of the refs knew who the ball went out on in front of Corbins bench and the bald ref actually looked at Corbins coach for the call.........and he listened and called it Corbins way!!!!!And the biggest thing that was a joke about it was that the bald-headed ref made at least 90% of the calls, and about all of them was against MC.Well I thought that was bad enough but the real kicker is that a Corbin fan informed me that the bald-headed ref lived near him.....in Corbin!!!!!!!Like I said I could care less who won the game but this one was actually funny to watch.Of course unless you was a MC fan.
  13. Yeah, this was definitely a interesting game.lol.I wouldn't look for MC to accept any offers to come back to this tournament, thats for sure.
  14. Kind of goes with the theme of the tourny so far.
  15. I just wish that Arron Watts would get the coverage that the northern kids get.If he was playing anywhere from Laurel to Louisville he would definately be talked about in the same company as Miller,Hopson, and Euton.
  16. I have seen alot of travel teams with white on white uniforms and I thought they looked really good. Some with gray letters outlined with a darker gray, and some with like a yankee color blue letters trimmed in gray or silver.
  17. I dont know if any of you are familiar with the Anderson Techzilla, but I have seen first hand the performance of pretty much every top-end bat (except the new Mattingly Beast.) and this bat just absolutely blows the others out of the water. It is a end loaded bat and takes a little while to get used to but when they do,WOW!!
  18. Yeah,Kentucky was kind of recruiting that Aminu kid last year at this tournament.(If thats what you call what Tubby and Reggie was doing there for a whole 10 minutes.)Thats why I was wanting to find out some of the other teams ,because last year there was several D-1 scouts there along with Tubby and Roy Williams on the second day.My friend and I sat with N.Carolinas assistant the entire first day and talked Kentucky basketball and recruiting.I am by no means a tarheel fan but thats my friends favorite team so that made his year and plus he got to meet Roy Williams and get his autograph and picture taken with both of them.
  19. I see on khsaa that Centennial,GA was one of the out of state teams coming this year,I was just wondering if anyone associated with Lexington Cath. knew who some of the other out of state teams are going to be.I went last year and they had some really good names there.(JJ Hickson,AJ Stewart,Al Farouq Aminu, and several others.)
  20. Or the amount of male dogs!!
  21. SSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH........Quit making sense now.Come on!!!
  22. I would say Ty Proffitt is right there with him, except I think Ty has the mid-range shot unlike Jordan.
  23. No not really because like I said at your average 4A schools there are 70 players on the team but only about 35 at the most get any playing at all.I know it's highschool but you need competition in any sport. You can let the other 35 lift, practice, and be a part of the team just don't dress them.By just putting a kid on a team because he showed up is setting a bad example anyway.I mean if your employer just payed you for showing up would you actually do any work?If they really want to play football they will put in the work it takes to make the team. That coming out just to be a part of a team stuff stops in little league. As far as those 35 kids at T and X,that just means 35 good players will be playing at other schools in Louisville and making it that much more competitive and that much more good football to watch.
