Reason for the score is ever since South Laurel got beat by Corbin they have been a changed team, their running up and down the floor good, playing hard defense, and the biggest thing i have seen is their intensity level which is awesome now.. even though they lost to Boone, I think they can take North this time around and I dont think they will have a problem doing it..

yeah with North winning..

I just don't see South blowing-out anyone this season,especially a cross-town rival like North.Heck even when South was so dominant they hardly ever blew-out North.

Before South played Corbin they were 4-1 with a 17 pt win over Whitley. Since Corbin they are 2-1 with a 6 pt win over Whitley. I don't see the drastic improvement you are talking about.

I believe South will get this one. North is really only getting scoring out of one kid and I just dont think a well coached team like South will let Seidel beat them by himself. If his supporting cast can step up and get anything done they might have a shot. Just because they caught South early in an emotionally charged game at home doesnt mean they are a better team than them.

Major payback for the Cards tonight it sounds like, Wow a 34 point win, would not have thought that would happen at North.

Wow, I thought South may win this one, but never would I have seen this coming.

A surprise appearance by former south laurel great Ty Proffitt set the mood in the locker room before the game.

How are things going for Ty at Notre Dame? Have not seen his name in the boxscores?

not seeing a lot of minutes as of yet alotta that steaming from an injury at the first of the season. He is now fine and should come off the bench more to get a couple mins a game. Playing as a freshman can be difficult but ty seems to be adjusting just fine.

Glad to hear things are going well for him. Super nice kid and very good player. I hope he sticks it out and earns some time in the future. One thing about it. He is getting a great education at Notre Dame. If you have ever been on campus and seen all the beauty you will understand how special the setting is.

I would say that Coach Conway and the Jags will bounce back. Hard to play two big rivals back to back. The Corbin game took alot out of the Jags. South played well and took the Jags to the woodshed tonight. Tis only December and many teams will change greatly by March.
