The announcers said that Apollo has played 14 overtime games this year. They were prepared for a close game.

This is disappointing.... the longer you let a team stay in a game the better chance you have of losing it. I guess they were our best representation up here but what a game by that Sophomore Brown.....looks like they hit their free throws also.

Great year for CCH -- a lot to be proud of. Want to congratulate Timmy, Danny, Stick, and Joe on great careers.

 

Hate to see it end so early, but it sounds like CCH had their chances to pull away early and didn't do it -- and then a seasoned Apollo squad pulled it out late.

Looks like third region teams had the Colonels' number this season.

Apollo outshoot CCHS 56 % to 36%.

 

Apollo outrebounded CCHS 35 -26

 

Each school finished with 12 assist.

 

Apollo had around 25 turnovers for the game, but was able to overcome this due to poor shooting for CCHS and winning the battle on the boards.

35-26 rebounding edge for Apollo. Little was a huge factor off the bench.
