Cole is a super talent and catches passes against everyone they play, despite being doubled teamed. From what I have read it doesn't seem to me that Somerset is doing things for the sole purpose of padding Coles stats. Who holds the record with Cole for most receptions and Most yards in a career?

I am a SW fan and I thought we got a break on that call. I think without a doubt PC was the best team last night and I want to congratulate them, But this game was a lot closer than the final score. PC was up 28 - 15 and Adam White got behind the PC Def. and the ball was just out of his grasp. IF SW scores there 28-22 and who knows. The PC TD inside a minute made the game seem more one sided than it actually was. If PC beats Lincoln they will be the #1 seed and SW will be the #4 seed. I hope PC wins because I would love to see the rematch between these two teams.

I think PC may struggle early with Hines and Muse playing football. But when these two get into basketball shape over christmas break, they will make PC competitive. Mark Flynn is an excellent coach and PC will there in the mix of things in march.

Me. I would have rather beat South Laurel by 25 points in the regional tournament than to lose to them in a war. Especially when it cost you a trip to Rupp. I loved very second of the rematch the next year when you all spanked the cards. The only thing that would have made it better was if they put Todd McFarland in the game.

If memory serves the "Miami connection" cost Wayne a trip to the sweet 16. If you remove Rivera from SL then Wayne would have won that game by 25+

I am going to pick Pulaski because I am a SW fan. Every time I pick SW to win they lose and the one time I picked them to lose they won.

Dunbar scored on a long runto go up 7-0 SW drove the ball downfield to tie it at 7 Mitchell from SW picked off a lateral and returned it to put SW up 14-7 at the half. Dunbar fumbled on their next 5 possesions. After one of those fumbles TT Wooldridge hit Mitchel on a bomb for another TD putting SW up 21-7 Mitchel from SW intercepted another lateral pass and took it to the endzone to put SW up 27-7 with 4 min in the game. SW put in their second team D with under 4 min to go and Dunbar scored on one play. SW 27 Dunbar 14 SW went 4 and out and Dunbar got the ball back and Scored on its next play putting the score at SW 27 Dunbar 21 with a little over a min. to play. SW got the onside kick and ran out the clock. SW is a much better team when TT Wooldridge is on the field. Congrats to Coach A. The warriors played Hungry tonight.

Hole # 1 a pretty easy par 5 had the following scores: Eagles -none Birdies- None Pars- 24 players Bogeys- 34 players Doubles- 24 players Triple Bogey- 19 players quadruple Bogey- 5 players 10 and above-5 players I would say that was a pretty tough pin Placement.

The course was in pretty bad shape due to the dry conditions. However the players were allowed to lift, clean and place the balls within a scorecards length. The Greens were in fairly good shape and rolled at a pretty good speed. I agree that the pins were to harsh on several holes. Someone said Jordan Cash of Rockcastle drove #18 and then Andrew Heiser of South Laurel went back to his bag and got out his driver and knocked it on #18 also.:eek: That is unreal. Its like a 350 yard carry down hill.

I see your point, and I respect your position. But I live in the 12th Region and follow it pretty close. If South was in the 12th region last year they would have been the favorites hands down to win it. Without them there were 7 teams last year in the region that had a legit chance at winning the region. That is why I think its more exciting.

Steve still teaches at SW and he still coaches at Dunbar with David Hensley who was a SW assistant for a year in the mid 90's. I hope SW wins but with all the injuries at SW I am afraid It could be ugly. I hope I am wrong but I say Dunbar 35 SW 14

Rojas said the 12th isn't as exciting since the Laurel Co.'s left.I disagree. I think the 12th has been more exciting since their departure. South Laurel leaving may have hurt the 12ths strength the past two seasons, but the Jessamine Counties were both better than North.
