Good win for the Dogs. Congrats to Coach Hensley and staff.

RB Cory Williams led the Bulldogs with 173 yards and 4 tds on 30 carries. QB Marquis Clay added 105 yards and 1 td on 18 carries.

I'd say that Alex Matthews, Josh Conner, and Corey Farris are all expecting BIG games the next 3 weeks against Central's defense...and they should. I thought maybe the defense had improved from past seasons, but since the competion has picked up the past two weeks, the D obvioulsy can't stop anybody....and terrible special teams play isn't helping either.

Great gameplan and execution by Coach Hensley and staff......and Dunbar's sidelines were alive and enthusiastic, while MC's looked like they were beat before the game started.....

Cory Williams????

How many times had he run it for the Bulldogs before tonight?

First carries of the season. After review, he rushed for 182 yards and Marquis Clay rushed for 129. Dunbar rushed for 330 yards against the Indians.

Also, Dunbar had 5 starters out due to suspension and injury. They also lost another one, Tackle Eric Ayers to some sort of knee injury. They came together tonight and played a solid and physical game against a pretty good team.

If MC doesn't get their run defense fixed and fixed quickly..it will be quick exit in the playoffs like past seasons...that is IF they get to the playoffs at all.

Good win for the Bulldogs.

I did not see this game, but I see where Corey Williams ran well for Dunbar. I am assuming:

Steven Willis did not play due to injury;

Jerrell Greene either did not play running back or did not run the football;

And, Corey Williams did not fumble like the other Dunbar backs had done the previous

weeks.

Will someone please shed some light on these thoughts

^Williams ran hard and held onto the ball.....Dunbar threw an interception and I think lost one fumble (?)......they weren't doing anything unexpected on offense, and they held on to the ball for the most part.....and were easily gashing the Indians up the middle.

Central's terrible special teams play couldn't stop Marquis Clay on the kickoff returns and a really bad fake punt and an interception gave Dunbar the ball inside the 10 both times. Field position was in the Bulldogs favor the entire game....

They will make the playoffs, it is a four team district and they are currently 1-1. Central could lock up the 2 seed with a win at Shelby County or lose to Shelby and have Scott County beat GRC (which most expect to happen) and drop no lower than the 3.

You hit the nail on the head with the defensive issues...

Dunbar had 2 INT's. No fumbles. Willis was out with an injury. Greene was suspended, but was dressed.

Great win for the bulldogs. Way to go!

Good win for PLD.

Is Central kind-of the same every year? They never seem to get better as the year goes on. It's like they always peak real early.

"great one'! Who is that?

I think he means you.
