Good win for PLD.

 

Is Central kind-of the same every year? They never seem to get better as the year goes on. It's like they always peak real early.

 

I am new to the site but I have a vested interest in PLD football. Looking back at some of the threads throughout the year I have noticed that you seem to be all over PLD's coaches when they get beat. However, when they win a huge game (this one) you seem to have a back handed compliment to give them like the one above. I understand you have something against the PLD staff, it’s obvious, but just remember that this is a public forum and kids read what you have to say about their coaches as well. This was a huge win for PLD, good luck next week guys.

Come on Chair. Yes, you're obviously new so you haven't seen the excuses as to why they have been losing so much over the past 2 years. You've obviously developed your own opinion without all of the facts, so I won't really say too much about what your post says. Stay tuned buddy, you might find out that you're waaaaaaayy off.

I think PLDgreat has some very good insightful points to make. He obviously has more of an inside look at this team than most of us do.

Then there havent been to many backhands...as wins have been few and far between.

It has gotten to be a miracle if a Dunbar thread can stay open for more than a couple days.....they just beat a pretty good 6A team and still have a VERY good shot at hosting a playoff game.....they may be one-dimensional, but if they hold on to the ball then they are capable of winning most of their games....

The personal jabs need to stop as of now.

With that said, some of you need to back off the Dunbar staff and pay closer attention to the rules or you will be on the outside looking in full time.

You are correct, guru. I think their staff is utilizing the talent they have, the best way they can. If you don't believe us, ask M. Central, who had 330 yards of rushing stuffed down their throats.

I think 2nd guessing coaching comes easy. Coaches spend the time with the players and spend the time trying to get those players into the situation for them to be most successful.

Madison Central has very little ability to adjust to anything especialy defensively during a game. If plan A isn't working they try plan A a couple more times.

I take exception to that blanket statement.

 

As has been being discussed in this thread, it is easy to come onto an internet board under an assumed name and attack coaching staffs.

It does not matter if you are talking about PLD's Staff, Madison Central's staff or any other school in the state.

 

You have the right express your opinion on this board, considering you paid your subscription fee the same as I did, however, the problem I have had with reading threads / posts for the past 2 years, particularly concerning PLD and Madison Central, is that people are very quick to criticize the coaching when things go bad, and very reluctant to say hardly anything postive when things go well.

 

Point being, the players read this stuff probably as much or more than anyone else. Are you helping or hurting the team you claim to support by expressing negative views and rarely if ever expressing positive views?

 

I say congats to Dunbar on a good game. They played well, protected the ball for the most part and did what they had to do to put their kids in position to win the game.

I hope both programs get on a roll and end up meeting in the Region Finals.
