What is the status of Malachi Rider?

Speaking of districts sorting out this week, we have the Henry-Mercer battle for 2nd in District 4, as well as the Desales-Western Hills to see who is in and out of the playoffs.

How will the Hart/Glasgow/Casey/Taylor district fare against Union/PT/Trigg?

I think Hart-Casey is actually a pretty big game.

As my old Lawrence County college teammate Brad Derifield would say "that dog won't hunt." Belfry, comfortably.

The Male team with Michael Bush at QB way back when was a team that in my opinion would beat anyone at present. They were dominant both sides of the ball.

The Kentucky Supreme Court has routinely ruled that a student has neither a property right or a fundamental constitutional right to participate in extracurricular activities, nor is there a protected civil right impacted by classifications or eligibility, and therefore neither the student nor their parents have standing to sue for such things.

Not in 3A. E-Town would have to win a 2nd round game at CAL, or PT/Union/Glasgow/etc. would have to win 3rd round games at CAL and Bardstown. Just not likely.

I haven’t seen Bowling Green play so it is difficult for me to assess. I have seen Greenwood play, and they are very physical and have surprising athleticism. I would expect a fairly close, low-scoring game unless BG’s passing attack is more advanced than one typically sees out of high school.

Cooper Stone may be one of the better QB’s no one really talks about. Eagles at home get the win.

Imma take the Braves at home. I’m into raw, physical teams this year.

Tigers used a top back Tyleeq “Ty Ty” Williams, as sort of a Wildcat QB tonight, and wide receiver Logan McMillian-Grundy as well. #14 Kenyon Calhoun and #21 Sevyn Hamilton stepped up and ran some hard yardage tonight. We also got more Carrie’s at fullback than we have all season, with #35 Kaden Stine coming in to fill the load. Calhoun also stepped in to play corner, and Hazard picked on him but he did a fine job all in all. #32 Ryder Meredith filled in for Sauter on the defensive line and provided great pass rush and run defense. It is refreshing to know that there has been depth developed at most positions.

Our defensive line was tremendous vs. the run tonight. You all did get some receivers open, and I thought the screen game was there, too, Hazard just didn’t go to it until it was a little too late.

#4 Shannon Tonge. He scored 3 times tonight.

Very, very proud of this team, but also this coaching staff. The week of preparation to get the team ready under difficult circumstances, particularly while also on Fall Break, was one of the best I’ve seen in the David Clark era. We had a ton of kids ready to play and executing the game plan tonight.

Apparently, no fans will be sitting on the EKU home sideline. Both Hazard and Bardstown fans will sit on the visitor sideline.

Any of you learned historians know anything about series history or last matchup between these two programs?

Game will NOT be live-streamed by Bardstown. Live-streamer is on vacation for Fall Break. No cost of admission to get into game. Also no concessions.

#20 for Hazard looks like a really nice player on film. Tall, athletic, runs a little high but never seems to let a defender get a good shot on him. The Tigers will need to be very sound tackling to bring him down on Friday night.

The hits just keep coming for the Tigers. A starting lineman is now out Friday after suffering a concussion in a car accident that occurred coming home from the game Friday night. I never did see the beat.

Well, and they still have to contend with Campbellsville. Its entirely possible a 3 seed in District 2 could beat a #1 from District 1.

I lied. Apparently our away games are on YouTube Live also, so good on us.

We do OK on YouTube Live for home games, but we don’t bring anything to away games so I echo your sentiment.
