Final.

Very impressive showing by the shorthanded Tigers. There's some quality depth on this squad.

Bardstown is the real deal. Hazard isn’t a bad team by any means, so for Bardstown to shut them out while having all the injuries they have, is super impressive. Congrats to both a solid game.

Very, very proud of this team, but also this coaching staff. The week of preparation to get the team ready under difficult circumstances, particularly while also on Fall Break, was one of the best I’ve seen in the David Clark era. We had a ton of kids ready to play and executing the game plan tonight.

The kid that had the play recognition on that bad punt by hazard, not only did he catch it with a defender I’m his face. But ran it back as well. What # and who was that?

#4 Shannon Tonge. He scored 3 times tonight.

Kid is fast and shifty and tough.

Bardstown has speed across the board. It can only be contained for so long.. The offensive line is very good and moves very well. A defense facing them can only make plays so long before those plays are turned into gashing plays of 10-20+. Bardstown defense is very stingy against the run. I wish Hazard could of punched that one it to make it a little more interesting, but the false start killed it. Hazards Wideouts got behind the Defensive backs a couple times, If the quarterback put those on the money or just a bit in front, the game could of been different. Hazard seemed to open it up a little more in the second half. Most shots down field I’ve seen from them this season.

Not gonna lie, this score surprised me.  I had no idea that Bardstown had backups that could step right into key positions and never miss a beat.  Great win!  Very impressive!

Our defensive line was tremendous vs. the run tonight. You all did get some receivers open, and I thought the screen game was there, too, Hazard just didn’t go to it until it was a little too late.

Tigers used a top back Tyleeq “Ty Ty” Williams, as sort of a Wildcat QB tonight, and wide receiver Logan McMillian-Grundy as well. #14 Kenyon Calhoun and #21 Sevyn Hamilton stepped up and ran some hard yardage tonight. We also got more Carrie’s at fullback than we have all season, with #35 Kaden Stine coming in to fill the load. Calhoun also stepped in to play corner, and Hazard picked on him but he did a fine job all in all. #32 Ryder Meredith filled in for Sauter on the defensive line and provided great pass rush and run defense. It is refreshing to know that there has been depth developed at most positions.
