I thought they were talking about 2 a days at school, not football camp. both of those coaches go to camp. I know they said something about transporting players back and forth to practice. That would be just like waht Coach J spoke of earlier.

I know that Coach Hilton never did 2 a days and also Coach Larkey when he was at Rockcastle never did. Both of those guys are pretty good coaches.

Add Luke Stocker to that list, he is starting tight end for the Vols from Madison Southern.

I know some of the states most successful coaches that do not do 2 a days. So my answer is NO as well.

Cole Abney is a beast and he got that way by busting his behind. His brother worked just as hard.

Coach Hammonds is a real good guy. Wonder if everyone is going to be in Admins. at Letcher? Mike Whitaker is going there to coach football and his wife is in Admin. Alot going on in LC. Sure will miss Robert in this area. But he is from the mountains and he is headed back toward home.

I know Coach Duncam also very well and have alot of respect for him as a coach and a person. Just stated a point that North Laurel has never been a fooball power in defense of another fine coach and person Larry Welch. GO BOTH JAGS AND CARDS!!

2 winning season in the last 11 years according to KHSAA web site. Duncam had 2 back to back winning season and went 6-5 each year. Record last 11 season 33-80.

North Laurel is and always has been a football power and Coach Welch killed it. North Laurel where Coach Welch was head coach has had 2 winning seasons in the last 15 years and those two there record was 6-5 both years, There record in the last 11 years is 33-80. Do not think Coach Welch coached all of those teams.

About 70% of Larry Welchs coaching experience has been at Rockcastle Co I would not call Rockcastle a proven loser. I bet that Coach Larkey and Coach Saylor would tell you that Larry Welch can coach football. Alot of comments are made on here by people that do not always know ALL of the story. THen people take them as the whole truth. THere is alot of background on Larry Welch that not everyone on here knows. He was coaching football when alot of people on here were in diapers. GO CARDS!!
