DeMarkus Smith is only a junior at Seneca and is a very impressive player. He spins the ball very well.

UK offered him yesterday.

I think there will be a lot of pressure on U of L to keep him in the Jefferson County city limits, but lots of other schools will be knocking on his door.

St. Xavier played without starting running back Jeremiah Neal and starting safety Nick Sears. Also starting receiver Austin Jones injured his shoulder the second game on the day.

Was a good day for Western Hills. Their 7 on 7 team made it to the Final 8 (lost to Seneca 33-22) and they came in 2nd in the Big Man Challenge. Seneca is very athletic and go up to get the ball. Against Hills they had 2 TDs in which their WR just out jumped Hills FS - which is a feat since FS Dylan Curry from Hills is 6'6" with a 28" vertical.

Final four teams left playing were:

St. Xavier

Seneca

Shelby Co.

Lex. Cath.

Lex Cath did not make it to th efinal four. They lost to P-burg.

Dunbar won the big man challenge.

Big man challenge results??

This was at a skills camp?

None of Fort Campbell's "big men" went to UK, they just sent the skills players.

Later.
