Brossart definitely will have Ludlow well scouted.

Carroll is a nice team...if Walton plays hard, disciplined football this one could go either way.

Cooper's running game is nice! Jaguars in this one.

This game will come down to the discipline (or potential lack there of) of Ludlow's players.

Bracken also took the opening kickoff to the house. Great job by the Bracken coaches Friday night, that place was rockin.

Oh and the pointing and laughing faces were what I was refering to in the first place. lol

Well my honest opinion, and I have seen both teams play all of their games, is that if Ludlow does not tackle (like they didn't against Carroll) and Bracken takes advantage of mistakes they could very easily win this game. :thumb:

All I am saying is that people were acting as if it were absurd to think that Bracken could be Ludlow...just as people will act like it is absurd for Ludlow to beat Beechwood. If there is absolutely no chance whatsoever for a team to win, no reason for the fans to think their team can win, no reason for the players to play their hardest and try to achieve a goal, then why play?

Not trying to throw anyone under the bus but I am pretty positive one of the officials in todays game was going through in-game training.

Not saying anything about where this team will finish but the kids should have some satisfaction in knowing this: Brossart (2-0) has as many wins as the rest of their district combined (Beechwood, Bellevue, Dayton, Ludlow, and Walton).:thumb:

Ludlow had an answer for them...all the adjustments in the world go out the window when you miss 48 tackles. Look for Ludlow to come back much more focused this week.

And let's not forget that Taylor is a mediocre to average CHL team. There are many conferences in Kentucky they would do just fine in.

Ludlow wins...they don't shock anyone, they don't stun anyone, they don't pull off an upset...they will simply win the game.

Yes the running clock does start in the second half, but does not have to be only because of 45 points. The clock will also run on mutual agreement between the coaches, and I'm pretty confident myself that Coach Hornsby was not going to push the issue over the 4 points.

Yes but there is one major difference. Coach Yeagle was content to run dives up the middle after getting up big but Coach Rash was doing everything in his power to keep scoring and rolling it up.

The running clock was in hand already, there was no reason for Beechwood's coach to do this besides embarassing Ludlow's kids and community. Coach Rash decided this season, as was evident in all of the games against Class A schools, that he was going to break the spirit of the spirits of these schools. He wants to prove that Beechwood is still the big dog and at no point, under no circumstances will anyone usurp them. There were a few Beechwood fans last night that even made comments about how tasteless this was. Good luck to the Beechwood players, you play tough hard nosed football and are flat out great players. It is just unfortunate your coach has to act in such a manner, thinking he is bigger than what he really is. If we are all to worship Coach Rash and he is to emerge from the shadow of Coach Yeagle, he might want to consider another approach. If not, he will never live up to the other great Beechwood coaches, will never give these kids the coach they deserve, and never get a job like, oh I don't know, Moeller.

Penick got a redshirt, I believe medical, for last season and thus is a freshman. As far as his transfer I am not sure, though I haven't heard anything of it yet.
